Not quite what I had in mind!  Just because the whole lyrium thing that was in origins with the templars.  It's supposed to be addicting, or something.  I thought that originally they were going to have that in-game (origins), but it got cut.  (could be wrong)  I'm just wondering if it will have any effects on mages, not necessarily recharging them, just wondering if the lyrium in Fenris only affects him, or it extends to those around him.

Tournaments could include quite a few sports, though. There's jousting, sword-fighting, quarter-staff fighting, archery contests, wrestling... A google search told me that the priority when it came to sports was keeping people in fighting shape because it was needed, something which would definitely hold true for Thedas.
I imagine the upper echelons of society in Thedas enjoy sports like badminton (I remember seeing that on the show The Tudors :happy:), some kind of croquet or golf, and perhaps even a form of polo. There were apparently early versions of soccer in medieval times so maybe something like that too?

Tevinter probably has gladiatorial spectator sports with their slaves...
