Cute!

That reminds me of something. Isabella's ship was transporting slaves when it crashed (I think). I wonder what the interaction between her and Fenris would be like. He's a former slave, he might not be too happy about that.

Aimo is amazing, her art always chokes me with humor, or smothers me with cuteness. The last panel is my favorite:lol:

Why is everyone debating if he is a werewolf or not? He is a twohanded warrior.

What is in a name?
Hawke isn't a bird
Carver isn't a sycobathic killer (as far as we know:?)

I'm also a little bit confused about the werewolf theory. I get how it comes from the mythological meaning of his name, but I'm not so sure if whoever burned lyrium into his skin would also have the need to make him a werewolf. I'd guess that lyrium just makes him a lot stronger in terms of physical strength. There's also how werewolves are in DA:O - they're not humans who can change at will but just that, werewolves. Their turning back to human destroys their connection to the curse. (correct me if I’m wrong)

We could of course argument that he can be a shape-shifter, but I'm not sure if lyrium would grant him access to magic on top of making him physically stronger.

But I’m biased because I rather like the idea of him being a character more like Wolverine.

Huh. What do you people think his character would be after what happened to him in the past? Would he be a gloomy pile of sadness, a ‘meh, don’t care’ character or more of a bitter, dark one? Or do you have other ideas?

Just caught up from page 37... yes! Fenny reminds me of Lestat! I couldn't place it. I get the same sort of cold, easy confidence from the both of them.

*goes off to read Blackwood Farm again*

I'm pre-ordering the signature edition pretty soon. DA2's release is about a week after my birthday, so Fenny will be my belated birthday present to myself. ^_^

I've rather akward question for you. Fenris has lyrium in his vains, right? Soooo, is drinking his blood as good for mage as a lyrium potion? xD
It would be so nice if he will have no sense of morality because of his memory problems. "Well, killing darkspawn and that innocent villager is the same! They both had their lifes and now they're dead." :3

Lady Hawke: ...how about love?..
Fenris: Love? Yeah, I used to know that word. ^w^
Lady Hawke: T_T

//sorry for my English ^ ^'''

Hawke might have the ability to turn into a bird for all we know.

Fenris, eh?../../../images/forum/emoticons/wondering.png

So ... are the folks at Bioware fans of Norse Mythology or the Quest For Glory series?

I'm hoping QFG../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png

QFG is actually the first thing that I thought of when I heard 'Fenris'. :D

I have one of the QFG games sitting around somewhere... I'm really now tempted to play it, if my computer can run it (the graphics and me can deal).

Anyways... Some of my musings:
- I love how his back story is shaping up. My favorite theory around here is that he's connected to Fen'Harel in some way. Either he IS Fen'harel or he's got the essence of the god sealed inside him, or I dunno, something. It's gonna be cool, whatever it is.

Fenris + Fem!Hawke's Godbaby VS Morrigan + M!Warden / Alistair / OR Loghain's Godbaby?

Sorry, first thing that came to mind. I think it'd be unique if he is connected to Fen'harel, and give him a interesting story. A good theory could be based on this. Remember Fen'harel is the Trickster and supposedly betrayed the other gods of the Elvish pantheon.

Minxie18 wrote...
- Some people have said they don't like his hair... Well, I like it. I think he's the only guy who could pull it off.

- Whoever suggested Cillian Murphy for the voice actor... brilliant. That would be a dream come true. I hope he sounds just like him (and I would squee like I've never squee'd before if he actually was the VA). ...But I wouldn't mind anyone who sounds like Garrett Hedlund either, to be honest.

........

- Finally... Oh Mah Gaaawd he'd better not have a dead wife and/or estranged son. That is all.

OK, so these ones are done in a group.

- Fen's hair is sexy, haters of Fenris' hair. You're jealous your hair isn't as sexy as his. :D

- Garrett Hedlund FTW. For some reason, I see Fenris with a voice like that where it has a natural dark sound that's not over the top and sounds like it belongs to someone who had a bad life. I'll look at Cillian Murphy too; I've personally never heard of him, so I'd like to see some of his work.
=Edit= Nevermind, I just realized that Cillian Murphy is in Red Eye. His voice would be genius as well =EndEdit=
--- I would also suggest Crispin Freeman, but I have a feeling people would flash on Mr. Fishlips in NWN2:MotB every time Fenris would start talking, and Freeman sort of has a voice that sounds like it's slightly... floaty? Not in a bad way, but it sort of sounds mystical.

- Agreed. Dead wife, dead kid, estranged kid, and I think I might beat my head in.

ZOMG AIMO ART.

I must not squee. Squeeing is the mind-killer. It is the little-death that brings total annihilation at the hands of a maddened John Epler.

Fenris is the Dragon Age version of Weapon X. Fused with a volatile substance that would kill most, he has become a living weapon. He has no memory of his former life, but his mysterious past follows him wherever he goes.

Ten bucks says he falls in love with a mage who specializes in fire.

Bingo.

I have no clue why people keep bringing up werewolves.

Fenris/Fenrir equals big wolf of death during Ragnarok in Norse mythology.
