I've heard of him - all the other fans  of the Gemma Doyle book series that I know liked using footage of him in fan made videos (because he looks a bit like a certain character in the books).
What prompted this suggestion, anyway?

I did.
I quite like him in Skin and thought his image kind of match Fenris.....apart from the hair of course.
But he was so young, I feel silly even brought this up...

I've been replaying ME2, because I'm awesome and bought a copy for the PS3 as well, and on Tali's loyalty mission I started wondering about Fenris' VA. Rael'Zorah had a German accent, and we know how Bioware loves reusing voice talent.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any name for Rael's VA, and I'm going to assume it's not him. Still, he wouldn't be a bad choice, I don't think.

A while back I found myself reading Fenris' parts in Dr. Doctor's dialogue with Ezio's voice. I can't say I minded.

I can't say that I would really enjoy Fenris with Ezio's voice since I have played AC2 and Ezio was a womenizer.
While I recognize that Fenris will not be this way, my brain will keep going back to Ezio. It would be very distracting.

I say this because I've seen people guess that Zevran's accent was Italian just as often as others have guessed Spanish. I figured since Gaider said Fenris is nothing like Zevran then he probably wanted a VA that wouldn't invited any Zevran comparisons...

Then again Roger Craig Smith seems like the type of known VA who Gaider would actively request. Hell if it is him he might not even be doing an Italian accent, so there'd be no risk of Zevran comparisons anyway. *shrugs*

You know, I'm not sure that Gaider meant that the VA was really well known when he said we'd guess the VA in less than 30 seconds if we knew the accent... I think he might have been joking because, as we know, the people here have a reputation for guessing things like this ridiculously quickly. I took it as more of a suggestion that no matter how obscure the VA, someone would guess it correctly somehow.

I'm just saying cuz I don't think we should rule out certain accents just because you can't necessarily name some well known VA off the top of your head who's done that accent.

You need to play Brotherhood. Ezio gets all sentimental about love and relationships. Ezio's whole life is pretty sad, actually. The culmination of the flashback quests is especially horrible. Poor guy.

I definitely picture him Russian. And since David said that the accent would give away the VA I'm going for someone from GTA ^-^

However he did say this actor had been in a popular RPG. But I dunno how that will help us.

EDIT: Not going to lie, I liked Ezio better in AC2 than Brotherhood.

Weren't the Admiralty Board members (Daro'Xen, Han'Gerrel, Zaal'Koris) voiced by Claudia Black, Simon Templeman, and the man who voiced Avernus (blood mage from Warden's Keep DLC)? That's who they sounded like to me when I first heard them.

Rael'Zorah had a nice voice. I liked the timbre and his accent.

I always pegged Zevran's accent as Cajun (running joke between me and a friend was "OMG it's GAMBIT!" ) But that could've just been me....

I suppose there's a possibility for there to be a comparison between the two. But to me the difference between the VA for Zevran and RCS as Ezio are like night and day...

But I suppose we'll have to wait and see...
