I am starting to think they won't release character videos...maybe a last Dev Diary with Fenris' and Merril's voice included. The reason they had character videos for DA:O was the pushed back date of the game...they had to keep the fans focused for another half a year. Heck even broodmother had a video xD

But hope dies last

I would also not mind a character introduction video like the one they did for DAO with Fenris uttering that line and as a bonus for my twisted mind him slamming fem Hawke to a wall on their first meeting ala Grunt from ME2 *sigh* can anyone say sexual tension and lots of bruises....

I think that would tide me over until release date, actually any Fen video featuring fem Hawke would do the trick..

I've watched bits and pieces of ME2 on Youtube. I've tried playing ME, but my laptop is c**p and the game lagged, so I couldn't get into it. Hopefully the new computer that being delivered to me should rectify that.

Plus, DA2 shouldn't lag on my new computer either. *fingers crossed*

As far as Fenris's character, are you happy with the amount of story to him? I'm not trying to dig for how involved he'll be but I know there are cuts made and such that can sometimes take away from a character. I remember there being a scene with Morrigan that you had Aimo draw because it was left out of the game. Do you wish you could add more or do you usually feel satisfied with the way things end up?

One of the other threads about cutscenes came up with this:

Dragon Age 2 was cleared for release with no cuts made.

So I guess the answer is 'no, because nothing got cut', or am I completely misinterpreting the above sentence?

We almost reached page 500? Damn, this thread is moving fast. o.o

Well, he's a little like Valen in some respects. I wanted to have a more stoic character, and never really got the opportunity to explore that fully with Valen.

Beyond that there are a couple of characters that I was inspired by, but I'd hesitate to mention them simply because people read way too much into that. Some folks who hear "inspired by" read it as "is an exact copy of" and that's nothing of the sort. The parts of a character that I find interesting and inspiring might seem entirely incidental to someone else, and regardless of my inspiration the character I wrote may have ended up somewhere else anyhow (as with Zevran and his "Spike of Buffy" inspiration).

Fenris is loosely based on Valen Shadowbreath from NWN Hordes of the underdark, which is his character as well.
