That's an interesting idea. Seeing as they're caused by lyrium, I would imagine that it would feel cool to any one who touched them, but would seem hot to Fenris.

TBH I think that's not the kind of detail that would be important enough to use time to explain, unless it has plot importance. The scars are already important and beyond 'pain' any additional weird qualities would just be too much.  So... no. Kinda like how there was specluation on him being an ex-slave and a werewolf. Too much 'special' even applies to smaller details. (Unless you have a scar and your name is Harry Potter. Or something.)

I agree. Theres a line between being a cool, intresting character and being a mary-sue. And the last thing any of us want is for Fenris (or any other character) to be a mary sue.

Not to mention the game is not about Fenris specifically, so as far as I know the point is to get you invested in his character using only X potential lines of dialogue, and unlike HP there are not seven novels by which to accomplish this and also expound upon... stuff. I don't know how knowing that his scars have some superfluous quality would help that.
