Edit: Not to stop you from speculating about how he sneaked onto a pirate ship to get to Kirkwall and then fought his way out or something.

Yea he said that fen just says meditative things and swears in his language. But doesn't yell. That would take a very calm attitude and self control to not yell.

That could either mean we meet Fenris before Isabella or it could be one of Isabella's personal quests. (or the group just decided to kill some pirates or whatever. At least we know we can actually be on boats.)

Oh, as I recalled from the story video, they seemed to be captured and imprisoned in a ship. So this could be showing that they escaped by fighting their way off.

You know, I never got the sense that they were captured. I always thought that they were just riding on the boat, down where all the poor people have to stay. Because I think you can see Aveline sitting beside Hawke and she has her sword and shield (I THINK! I'M NOT SURE!). If they were captured I don't think they'd let Aveline keep her weapons...

Ehm...seeing as Hawke was there with his mom, Aveline and Carver, i think they were traveling to the Free Marches, from Ferelden.

I don't know about a specific picture (I'm no good at finding those), but if you watch this video at about 00:40 you'll see what I'm talking about. I believe that's Aveline by Hawke (with Carver and your mother as well).

nope its not aveline.. its a man with black hair or a women with a hood.. took many picture of the video and if you watch carefully you will see.. but yah.. this person does have a shield on him/her so i dont think they are prisoner.. maybe they just going somewhere... i dont think this part of the video relate to fenris to be honest

I'm still leaning toward the idea that it might be Aveline, but regardless, even if it's not her, whoever it is still has a sword and shield, so my original point still stands. I don't think they're captured

and if you look carefully at the start of the book varric have in his hand you can see .. the 6 primary character... 1 i cant barely recognize tough it was 2 varric xD

...I was mentioning it because a long time ago, the Fenris Hip Sway wasn't good on computers anymore. Then I posted something that contributed to the Aveline or Complete Stranger conversation.

Sadly, it isn't, tankgirly.   If you watch the full clip, it's an old woman in a dress lying on the floor. xD  One could assume that a close relative of hers is the one attending her.
