I think the idea of multiple living weapons is more inline with the Weapon X program than... just Wolverine. I mean, look at how many marvel characters (with varying powers) popped out of that project:

Wolverine, of course, X-23, Deadpool, Lady Deathstrike (albeit, I think she stole her father's research and was not an actual part of the project) and countless others that I'm probably forgetting.

It's possible that the Lyrium branding is simply Fen's shtick, and that the Magister is still carrying out other experiments on his slaves back in Tevinter that have nothing to do with Lyrium branding.

Or we might see a Fenris style X-23 sometime in the game... xD

O3O I'm guessing, the only surviving one with dumb luck.. but wait, slaves are pretty expensive, I don't think the magister willy nilly would want waste all his money and slaves into shaky experiments.. unless.. wow.. that's a high and expensive research budget!

If I remember correctly, Zevran only costed 3 Sovereign, and that was much, considering how he was only flesh-and-bones. If he had money to burn I don't think the cost really matters.

Also, he could have kidnapped him when he was young.

I think that the lyrium would have been the big investment.

The Tevinter Imperium was rules by mages, that means a lot of Lyrium. Maybe it's easier to find Lyrium there than in Ferelden?

No, "Despite its dangers, lyrium is the single most valuable mineral currently known. In the Tevinter Imperium, it has been known to command a higher price than diamond.". Link

I believe it's either 6:22 A.M. or 5:22 A.M. on Friday where they are. I just can't remember if they're two or three hours behind the time zone I'm in.

Mountain time zone...one hour ahead of pacific, 2 hours behind Eastern (in North America)

Forgive me for being a newbie, but what are you waiting for exactly? Release of new info?

Is it the next companion to be revealed?

"Love. A blip on the monitor of involuntary human response. A hiccup of an
emotion when compared with envy, hatred, lust. And just who was this St.
Valentine? A bishop, Roman, third century, got his head sliced off-
- ouch--
for marrying lovers against his emperor's decree. You see Claudius II believed
men made better warriors unmarried. Power comes with the absence of love.
Love drains us of our strength. We never learn, do we? And you say that love
conquers all? Well not for you, St. Valentine, not for me. Not for any of
the heartbroken."

Valentine

LI-conformation (or not) and the perfect day to do that is Valentine's Day. ;)

Next companion would be nice, but LI info would be better (not only for Fenris, but about all LI's).
