Ok, fenris at a dancing festival! What dance does he do? Does he dance clumsily or awkwardly or he won't dance at all?

I'd think awkwardly, but maybe he has the teh natural instinct of a DANCER!

Well if he can't dance I'm sure Hawke can provide instruction on the matter. Especially Rogue!Hawke:

I have a question, David, if I may.
I'm trying to get a feel for the guy's personality.
If, say, someone happened to tell Fenris a joke... and a really funny one, not a lame attempt, would Fenris be more likely to:
a) Stare at the person with a blank expression
B) Laugh
c) Roll his eyes
d) Repress a laugh
...or something along those lines?

Oh, and I don't care whether he is romancible or not. He's coming home with me no matter what. I will jump into the screen and.... do something I probably shouldn't post here. :innocent:

This is my very first post, by the way. ...and it's all for Fenris.
::Sigh::

Me preparing for the worst = "Well there's always fanfiction." ;)

As for the Fenris dancing subject, I'll go back to what I said a few hundred pages ago or so during the big dance discussion, which was that I'd love it if Fenris knew traditional elven dances in his youth but has forgotten them in his amnesia, but when he dances with Hawke he finds himself remembering the steps. ^_^

XDDD omg! doctor you found the orginal saftey dance video! =3= you wouldn't believe the trouble I've been getting at trying to find it....

Ok, for my part, At first, he'd be like "no" But if My F!Hawke forces him, then he'll do some awkward dance, having amnesia and all.. embrassing my hawke enough to regret having forced him on the dance floor.

And then... he'll start to get into it.. making his own move and my hawke will sit on the side lines, facepalming her face red XDDDDDDD

Any post that even implies that Fenris the escaped former slave be treated as an object to be possessed is either sad or unintentionally hilarious.

Isn't that a little mean? Iunno, I am against anyone but vain, mid-life crisis cougars using that term.

Fenris: I can't dance.

Aveline: Are you a swordsman?

Fenris: What does this even have to do with dancing?

Aveline: As my father would say "A swordsman who cannot dance is a man who needs a new profession." You are adept at the ways of the sword, therefore you obviously have the coordination to dance, you simply choose not to.

Fenris:
Why would I choose not to dance if it was fully in my power to perform said task?

Aveline: Because your afraid that other people will see. or that you'll actually enjoy yourself for once.

Fenris:
Is this sarcasm? From our Aveline, Maker preserve us, I'd never thought I'd see the day.

Mm, I hope Aveline doesn't think of swordsmanship as dancing. Guess it's not so bad, though.

I was intending to have the "maybe you're afraid that you'll enjoy yourself for once" line be in a sarcastic tone. I guess it didn't come across that way, I'll make a note of it for next time.

Bahahaha. But to be fair, maybe that's how some people rp their Hawkes.

Combat training and dance training actually have a lot in common - stance, weight distribution, coordination, balance etc.

Do you mean a critical tone?

Sarcasm is a type of irony; it means something that's different than what was said and is typically insulting.

A sarcastic response might be, "A fun and carefree guy like yourself, Fenris? I'm sure you don't want to dance because you're worried you'll show everyone else up."
