Very funny. Reading this line, I instantly thought of Alistair when Zevran is giving him "advice".

Going back to the discussion of Fenris' mental/emotional state and romancing him, I would be surprised if he didn't have some issues that needed to be taken care of in some fashion. I'm personally with the 'I don't want Hawke and her love to fix/solve his problems for him' idea (at least that's how I've interpreted it). I would much rather have him sort himself out, knowing that Hawke loves him and will be there whenever he needs her.

And, on a off topic note, I finished my mage!Hawke costume. I won't post the picture but here's it is on deviantART. (Apologies for the blurry picture.)

I like the mage!Hawke costume Incol, if I had any sewing talent myself I'd totally make myself a Varric jacket.

Snow:

Fenris: Merrill, you're a mage right?

Merrill: Yes, why do you ask?

Fenris: Can you make things explode with your arcane powers?

Merrill: Well...yes, but why would I ever want to do that?

Fenris: Here, let me show you. (Fenris walks over to a rather detailed snowman that looks quite a bit like a rather old  man in mage's robes) Can you make this explode?

Merrill: Fenris, its a rather nice snowman, but why do you want it to explode?

Fenris: I noticed Hawke and other members of our band creating small effigies out of snow. (gestures over to a small snow-Varric with moss upon its chest)  In Tevinter, the magisters use effigies in order to wreak havoc with their foes. I think that by creating such a construct in the shape of my old Master I can finally end this conflict between us once and for all.

Merrill: (starts to laugh)

Fenris: Merrill, this isn't funny. This is serious, this creation of mine could be the key to my salvation.

Merrill: (stops laughing, wipes away a tear from her eye, and breathes in) Fenris, its just a snowman, the children of my clan used to make them during the winter for fun not for vengeance. What you have here is really nice, but nothing that I could do to it with my powers would actuallly hurt your old master.

Fenris: (deadpan) Alright. Thanks anyway Merrill.

Merrill: You're welcome Fenris.

(as Merrill walks away Fenris punches the snow-Magister in the face reducing it to a lumpy, misshapen pile of snow)

You know, it is ok to go a period of time without information on your chosen favourite...Think of the amount of information given on this thread as compared to maybe Merrill or Aveline.  I'd be happy getting the amount of info that you already have.  Besides, Im SURE that they're going to be releasing a lot of information in the month leading up to the release of the game (ie. this upcoming month).  So be patient and there'll be stuff to talk about soon enough
