Feb is a short month, Shelly. It will be gone before we know it.

Saw a 8 year old kid throwing major tantrum at the EB, only because he wanted the DAII game and we all know those lovely cases there are for display only, there isn't anything in it. SgtElias, looks like your children isn't the only one...XD

On the subject of sexuallity, I think that at first Fenris will be uninterested in anyone. He's been on the run from the Magister for so long that he's more interested in freedom than he is in having a relationship with anyone.

However I think that after a few years of a relatively stable life in Kirkwall he'll become a little more receptive to spreading roots without fear of being hunted down.

Is it weird to think that Liam O'brien is a good VA for Fenris?

Would his story with the magister similar to Zevran's with the Crow? In Zevran's case, he didn't really express anything beyond the flirting stage until you got rid of Talisen for him, like give you the earring and stuff.

@Biometry:

From Wiki:

.....he tends to play characters that show signs of insanity or are complete evil geniuses.

Orly? Somehow Fenris does not strike to me as this kind of person....but I might be wrong.

Niall was neither of those. Neither was Akihiko Sanada from Persona 3.

edit: Although he does sound like he's always sleepy.

I hope I can give him back to his master or whatever. I don't want to garner a reputation for letting escaped slaves linger around me.

Haha! Itching for a fight, are we?

Well, I'll let him stick around if he changes his identity sufficiently. Maybe if he started hormone/magic treatments and started wearing something sufficiently girly... maybe some kind of frilly dress, or majestic tevinter outfit... or some orlesian trollop outfit with thigh-high boots. So his former masters wouldn't recognize him of course... you know, So I can protect my reputation and not provoke any attacks. As a mage, reputation is doubly important.

...Damn you Fenris... <_<

I feel that Fenris might be along the lines of Bruce Banner from the Hulk comics, he doesn't care what happens to the people who hunt him down, he just wants to be left to live in peace. I think that a Fenris romance would be something like this:

Fenris: Hawke, I just want to say that I'm glad I'm with you.

Hawke:
Thanks Fenris, its good to know that you have my back.

Fenris:
(sighs) I didn't just mean it in that way. I'm glad that I'm with you, because your like this city your like an anchor. Not just to me but to all of us, you help to keep us all from just, drifting off into nothingness. If you had told me four years ago that I would be in some city with a home and a life beyond just running from my master I'd have thought that you were mad. Yet here I stand, thanks in part to you.

Hawke:
Well, I am glad that I could be there for you.

Fenris:
And that's why I wanted to talk to you. Like it or not someday something's going to happen, and when that day comes you may find yourself having to run like I have. When that day comes I want you to know that I want to be by your side. I want to be an anchor for you, just like you are for me, so that no matter what happens we can stay together.

Hawke: I'd like that. (hugs Fenris)

Or if you chose Rivalry:

Fenris:
(unsheaths sword) Look, when we started this little relationship you said that you needed my help. Yet, so far you ignore my advice, and treat me like just an arm with a sword attached to it. I don't think you take me seriously.

Hawke:
Well then, perhaps if you had just gone through with the plan and killed the Magister I would take you more seriously.

Fenris: My old master had no intention of hunting me down, he didn't even know that I was in Kirkwall he would have left me alone, in peace. Instead you went on a manhunt and endangered the lives of everyone. I will not have anyone get hurt because of me!

Hawke:
Well maybe I wanted you to be safe! You go on running and running from your problems Fenris, and when someone genuinely wants to help you, you just trot out the "I and I alone must suffer this fate" act. You never take into account that other people might care about you!

Fenris: Says the woman who charges off headlong into danger when she has a family and friends that care about her. I act this way because no one should suffer as I have. Especially not you.

Hawke: At least I face my problems, what if the Magister had returned? What if you had been captured? I couldn't have stood by idly while you were in trouble, I don't know what I would do if you wern't-

Fenris: (Kisses Hawke)

Hawke
: (breaking kiss) What happened to the Ser Stoic routine?

Fenris:
Despite the fact that you are a madwoman who acts before thinking, you're still a caring individual. You showed me that just then.

Hawke:
So this whole arguement was just to mess with my head?

Fenris:
(Has a smirk on his face)

Hawke:
You bastard, come here. (wraps arms around Fenris)

Edit: Whoa, sorry for the wall of text.

Through 99% of DAO's development, Tamlen was the spitting image of Corey Haim. I will never be able to think of him as anyone else now.

Poor unfortunate souls, those who are fans of Fenris and did not meet Valen on their journeys.

I also strongly recommend the rabid fangirls of Fenris to take a look at the second expansion of Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. The good news is, it's a standalone adventure, which means you don't have to play through the original campaign to enjoy it. Some basic knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons is recommended, but not necessary. The bad news is, it's an old game, by today's standarts and, because I spent part of my adolescence playing it, I'm not sure how well it aged. It is, although, an excelent game and a very strong mark in the history of BioWare gaming, that has already defined many of the traces their later games would have. All the ingredients are there. The good ones.

For those who have not played it, the expansion isn't only worth for Valen: it's a precious piece of aged gameplay, full of BioWare goodness, with excellent writing and settings. Drows, demons and tieflings ;) ~ <3

Did.. did anybody else after the first three words read this entire post to the tune of poor unfortunate souls from disney's the little mermaid...?

Now I have pat carrols voice stuck in my head.

I am totally on your side. Some of the earlier versions of Fenris had me going to the artists all OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU ARE RUINING MY LIFE.

Thankfully they were very accommodating. :)

EDIT: Except for the shoes.

I don't think he looks anything like Nero or Dante, except for the hair.  Fenris looks a bit worn in the face, while Nero is super babyfaced.  So is Dante (in 3) and I don't count fat Dante in 4.  Either way, many say this but really it's just a superficial hair similarity.  I like it, because I have a habit of making characters with really dark skin and white hair.  I love the contrast.  Nice to have a companion share my impeccable tastes.  :P

@Gaider:  Corey Haim.....that's really frightening.  Hopefully the younger years!
