I wonder if Hawke even has a bed. Like I know she has a "house" but it might be like a bedroll or something....

*cough*hammock*cough Posted Image

(for those of you who are confused, I made a joke/speculation about Fenris owning a hammock instead of a bed, and then that led into a discussion on the acrobatics of intercourse in said hammock Posted Image)

That's weird, I'd have thought that intimate relations in a hammock would be Isabela's thing. Old school sailors did sleep in them after all. If this was the case one of my M!Hawkes would have a funny story to tell the boys at the Tavern.

Fenris:
Have you seen Hawke today?

Varric: Sure did, from the looks of him he and Isabela got a little too frisky last night.

Fenris: I'm afraid I don't quite follow.

Varric:
When a man walks into a tavern with a concussion and a smile on his face it usually means one of two things. If said man isn't Hawke it usually means that the man in question tried to kiss Aveline. If said man is Hawke it means that he and Isabela tried the hammock trick again.

Fenris:
Hammock trick? (Isabela walks into the tavern and sits down next to Varric)

Isabela:
Dwarf, you aren't talking about what escapades my boyfriend and I get up to behind closed doors are you? Because you do know that's my job.

Fenris: (Staring into his mug of ale still muttering) Hammock trick? What does he mean by hammock trick?

Isabela:
Ah, the art of doing the deed in a hammock. You see Fenris, before my ship sunk I used to sleep in one every night, a normal bed just wasn't as comfortable for me. So my dear, sweet boyfriend decided to go and buy one for me. Sadly, whenever the poor thing wants to go and break it in, he has a few let's just say issues keeping his balance, so we always end up on the floor. Not that I mind.

That, or the group can get suspicious anytime Hawke walks in with a waffle pattern embedded in his face Posted Image

Edit: Or Isabela's, as the case may be...

This makes me feel like he's screaming "I must know the secret to this hammock trick!"

^Would probably be more amusing if I used all caps to signify screaming, but I couldn't bring myself to do that.

I'm going through an epic range of emotions since this news came out this morning.

Disappointed
Angry
Sad
Content and accepting
Mega confused
Now just laughing

This is just so ridiculous and I can't imagine this is how Bioware wanted to announce a demo.

I don't care about a demo. Some more information on the companions, like videos, would be nice. They sure are playing close to the vest.

Yeah. I agree that I personally would have liked more companion info, but Bioware has a timeline in which they can release things as we all know :( Oh well. Not saying what we have gotten isn't appreciated ;)

That's seriously all I thought was going on a week ago. Then someone leaked a demo banner combined with the Feb 1st date and all hell broke loose. I kind of got caught up in it myself since nothing was denied, but I would've been pretty happy if they just came out with another gameplay video. Possibly hear Fenris or Lady Hawke's voice.

At this point I feel bad for Bioware, as like I said, somewhere along the line someone screwed up and now we've got a confirmed demo without an official announcement. It's just a mess and I'd hate to be the person in charge of cleaning it up.

Outside the forums, though, I doubt anyone knows or cares. I dunno, this storm has passed me by I guess. I'm looking forward to meeting Fenris. :)

I've just skimmed the last pages so I might have missed it. Do we have the livejournal page up yet?

As for new information. I think it will start to drop in soon but I'm quite happy that I've been able to stay on the forum for so long without getting to much spoilers. I would really like to know who the voice actors are and who the LIs are. Nothing more, nothing less.

I completely agree with you. I don't want to know story spoilers, I just like to be able to count on something

Like knowing what people are going to sound like, and who the possible LIs are.

Good thing February is a short month...even if it's only a few days shorter :? Once I know voice actors and LIs I'll probably start avoiding the forums like the plague.

I am not upset about the demo (i wouldn't have played it anyway!). I was hoping for some new info- va announced, new dev diary, new trailer or something! Just confused at how the marketing team handled it!

I had convinced myswlf I was going to get to hear some fenris or Femhawke so my dissapointment is my own doing! But I am still hopeful we will hear some soon :D

Ah the wiggle helped lol

VAs are important information to me, and to anyone who's ever told me otherwise, I've always pointed out one thing.

Square-Enix forever ruined my image of Cid Highwind with the atrocious VA they gave him in Advent Children. He was one of my favorites. Now I can't even play the original game without him sounding like the worst hillbilly ever.

It can, and does, ruin a character for me if they have a VA I can't stand. I'd rather them not even be voiced at all than have a voice I just can't see fitting them.

I agree @maera imrov a va can make or break a game for me! And in da2 it will dictate if i play preference to male or female
