I'm guessing since your mother's family is/were nobility in Kirkwall, and you arrive at the family's estates, that your mother stays with you. After all, it is her side of the family. Also, it says on the Wiki that your mother informs you of any news that is important in the world, and gives you messages. I assume that means she stays with you.
I think it's less that 'you live with your mother' and more 'this is your family's estate, and your new home'. If that makes any sense.

Yep, the voice definitely does a lot for me, either positively or negatively. It kept me from being able to play Mass Effect for a long time. So I'm probably most anxious to hear femHawke's VO, but Fenris is next in line. Seems unfair we get the slam without the growl that goes with it.Maera Imrov wrote...
VAs are important information to me, and to anyone who's ever told me otherwise, I've always pointed out one thing.
Square-Enix forever ruined my image of Cid Highwind with the atrocious VA they gave him in Advent Children. He was one of my favorites. Now I can't even play the original game without him sounding like the worst hillbilly ever.
It can, and does, ruin a character for me if they have a VA I can't stand. I'd rather them not even be voiced at all than have a voice I just can't see fitting them.

Special Tree: Werewolf form (from his name)

Moving Day:
Hawke: So, this is our place.
Fenris: You live in an estate? I did not know your family was...
Hawke: Nobility? Neither did I, the only family on my mother's side that I knew was my cousin, and he was locked up in the Circle back in Ferelden. Turns out the the Arnells are nobillity in Kirkwall, and that my uncle left the estate to my mother. (looks at the pack that Fenris is carrying) Are you sure that you brought everything?
Fenris: I prefer to travel light, makes it easier to keep moving should my master decide to restart his pursuit.
Hawke: Well there's no need to worry, this place has held off three armies over the years so it should be perfectly safe for you. (the pair walk through the estate's gates and find Mrs. Hawke sitting in the courtyard)
Mrs. Hawke: (smiling) Hello Fenris, I see that you're moving in with my daughter. It'll be nice to have her home for a change.
Fenris: Thank you, Mrs. Hawke. I am honored to stay in your home.
Mrs. Hawke: Please, call me Leandra, I'm not an old woman yet. (to Hawke) Now sweetheart, while I know that the walls are made out of stone, remember that sound carries. So when you two are going to be occupied you might want to give us some warning.
Hawke: Mom, are you implying something?
Mrs. Hawke: (laughing) I'm implying that despite all of the responsibilites that you have, you're still young and in love. Maker knows what escapades your father and I got up to when we were younger, so all I ask is for a little consideration.
Fenris: There is no need to worry, I do not wish to disturb anyone.
Mrs. Hawke: It isn't you I worry about Fenris, its my daughter that I'm concerned about. Don't worry I'm sure that you'll be fine.

Okay, right - why is there a "table" in like, every single post you make? At least, every other post you make. I don't get it. For weeks I've been sitting reading a million variations of the stupid "table" thing... what is with the table thing? Can you just make a post without mentioning the frickin' table?Madame Rose Crimsynn wrote...

It is possible that because of that nobility line from the mothers side he will live in the wealthier part of town on some estate, if not from the start of the game than at least after a couple of years. Some estate the size of Arl's in Denerim, where although party companions stood like statues it is possible this time some will live with him and his family.

Archetype - 2 handed warrior
special tree - likely not going to happen as the werewolf thing has already been shotdown by Devs...

Well that ruins one of my theorys as to what Aveline and Fenris were discussing in the trailer:
Aveline: Fenris, why don't you have a seat?
Fenris: (slams hands on table) I can't sit! The tourture that I endured at the hands of my master caused me to forget how to. Now all I can do is wiggle my hips in a sad attempt to sit in a chair.
(scene cuts to Varric and Cassandra)
Cassandra: An inabillity to sit? Really dwarf, if you're going to exaggerate you might as well come up with something better than that.
Varric: Look, its late. I'm tired, you try telling a story for two days straight and see how well you do.

OHM. It is feburary and I am calm. There is a month ago until the game is released. OHM. I'm in a DA2 hibernation. OHM.
-peers an eye open- -see this- -clucks like a chicken- FFEEEENNNNNRRRRRIIIISSSSSSSS!! FENRIS FENRIS! FENRIS?! FENRIS! -smacks self- -shakes out of it-
DON'T DO THAT! It'll ruin my zen state! The mention on new fen-formation or just his name from gaider is almost bound to ruin my balance for the month!
Now, if you excuse me.. I'm going to OHM. and write my three essays for college... OHM. It's a month until feburary... OHM. I will have all my papers and projects in by then.. OHM.
Is anyone else in this zen state, and happy enough it's Feburary?

I'm happy it's February. It means I still have time to convince my parents to buy me a new computer, one with the recommended system specs.
Concerning Fenris sitting down while he and Hawke are talking, I'm quite glad. The thing that got me was that practically everyone you talked to in DA:O, they were standing, or stood up to talk to you. There are a couple of NCPs who stayed sitting, like that elf mage in the mage origin, the one who says that you're in his light.
When I've walked into a room where my flatmates are, they're lounging around. So, the fact that they can sit and hold a conversation makes it so much more realisitic.

I made a three pages comic to Prompt topic Snow, because there was only three propmts on tuesday! I don´t post the actual pics since I´m not sure if it fits entirely to the chategory, as the comic includes only little snow. There is the link to the first page (the rest of the links can be found on the page), so you can decide if it´s good enough.
This made me laugh so much!
Also, aww to droopy ear Fenris!

Hawke: Fenris! Check out this neat rubber ball that I found at the market, its enchanted to bounce for miles.
Fenris: And this would interst me why?
Hawke: I figured that this sort of thing would interest you that's all.
Fenris: Oh I get it, my name is the Tevinter word for wolf, so you automatically decide that its funny to make fun of it.
Hawke: Not at all, I thought that a such a free-spirited, fun-loving man like yourself would be interested in an enchanted rubber ball. It could be an excellent distraction in combat.
Fenris: Sarcasm will not get you out of this hole Hawke, I'd suggest you stop digging. Besides how could a ball distract someone in combat?
Hawke: Like this. (Hawke throws the ball down the street and hits a wall, it then ricochets and starts flying back towards Hawke)
Carver: (running up to Hawke and Fenris) You two have to come see this, Isabela's about to duel this other pirate and its going to be- (is hit the head with the enchanted ball which proceeds once more to ricochet and continues to wreak havoc in the streets)
Fenris: Alright, so it is a valid distraction.
Hawke: Told you.
