Is anyone really doubting that both Anders and Fenris are LIs? C'mon, they both scream romance material. Only question really is which is the s/s option. My vote is for Anders on that one. But, it is annoying that the male PC is the only one who gets any marketing attention, including LI reveal. Gotta reassure the testosterone crowd that they can boff someone.

Well actually...Izzy is a LI option for Hawkette too...

Think so? That would surprise me--mostly because he spent the entire game going on about pretty girls and mistresses and female templars. But anything is possible, I guess. Anyway, I definitely agree that he and Fenris are the likely LIs.

I am with you on this. Maybe I am wrong, but I've always thought that the human male mage will be an LI (even b4 it was revealed to be Anders - now it's just more evident). Fenris also scream LI material because of his past and looks.

I may have missed this somewhere on the boards, but...how is Fenris not insane or dead or hopelessy addicted to lyrium? I mean even one of the dwarfs in Orzammar was a little addled by the stuff and they're made to handle it. Maybe he's like Wynne: able to weild huge amounts of power, but only at the expense of his life/sanity. That would suck if he really was an LI. He would be like Zevran or Leliana in Origins: a throwaway romance that has no affect on subsequent games whatsoever (because he'd be dead/insane.)

Alistair does have more of an effect on the storyline in Origins, but it broke my heart a little when I had to choose Alistair over Zevran. I mean Alistair is sweet and funny most of the time, but watch out. At any moment he'll come bustling up to you, full to the brim with righteous indignation, and just start yelling.  Lots of yelling in a political sham of a marriage does not a happy Warden make, in my opinion. But alas, I knew there could be no future with Zevran (except for one small mention and a letter in Awakening.) Hopefully it will not be this way with Fenris, though Mr. Gaider definitely likes to pull at our heartstrings with these love interests.

I heard that too. There was a little dialogue bubble right above Fenris too so maybe that was him!

It could be Varric, though...

I think it is. He has a speach bubble, so it has to be him, right? If so, I have one thing to say: GAGAHAHHAGGAHH! /rant of squee. 

Voice aside, I love his slender features and that he moves more femininely than Hawke. And it seems his lyrium veins make him blue. Sweetness.

Hope the lyrium doesn't eventually make him say enchantment! Yea it was him speaking it sounded softer then Varric or Hawk.

Can't say I like it, but I'll focus on the pretty green eyes. 

Oh, and we heard his voice??  I don't have audio at work, can anyone tell what the accent is?

You are probably thinking of the high nose?  Prominent noses are regal.  I like that alright, it's the ears I don't like, or the idea that all elves have that facial structure now.

What ever it is, Gaider was right in saying it's only a faint accent. Like only every other word will sound accented. It's gonna be really hard to place.

I spoiled myself so much watching all the video ONLY to hear/see him...Hopefully i will forget until the game comes out.

Now that i listened to the line again, it strikes me as Varric's voice. And it doesn't seem to have an accent :crying:Boo.

Yep=). Remember our conversation about "only time and  full body shot will tell how male elf from DA2 is different from DAO one"?Now he have  all, and here is the comparison shot:
DA2 male elf share more features with DA2 female elf than  with  DAO male. As it should be.

I must admit, I am HUGE fan of elven redesign in DA2. They do not look like humans now.

I think Fenris is very attractive. Some of the screens we have had of him were not flattering, and for a while I wasn't really sure of his appearance. But a close up like that, yes, he's very attractive.



Still is a strong resemblance to FFXI's Elvaan in him, too. Not that I am implying that is a negative. My character for the 5+ years I played was Elvaan. I am actually rather tickled at the resemblance, though I'm sure it's unintentional. Or just coincidental.
