No, no, not conjecture. Here ya go (scroll down to the SPOILERS BELOW in red). It's in the March issue of Game Informer, complete with pictures of Anders with glowing, spirit-y blue eyes.

It was kind of funny how it went in the big reveal thread. First Gaider popped in and said something like "You should know Anders might not be the Anders you remember. People change." Then lots of us started guessing he'd bonded with a spirit because we'd seen the blue glowy eyes... And then a short while later someone posted that link above and we realized it was true.

Btw, Anders has been revealed and he seems to have some personality issues now too (if I can call them like that). The male LIs are going to be a hard nut to crack. But they'll like each other for sure, they can slam their hands on tables together!

Yeah, it could be Varric got overly excited at thinking maybe it was Fenris. There's also another voice saying "how many you got, Hawke?"

If Anders (who, after changing, could be the S/S LI ) and Fenris (Lady Hawke please? ) are both LI...Fenris first then Anders

I said earlier that I think it sounds like Kivan from BG.

Or it's really just Varric. But I find it suspicious that Fenris appeared to be selected (the speech bubble above him) and he was the only character in view, because the "We should move on" is a typical line you get when you click on your companions (and since he was the only one in view, who else could Mike have been clicking/selecting?)

Well Hawke was selected, he was next to Fenris, the others were away, Mike didn't change to anyone, he went into the meniu. So that might well be Fenris' voice.

Anders with this Justice possession thing is intriguing to me. I did not play Awakening, but what I did see of him, he seemed alright enough. I don't think I would have romanced him in his Awakening-state, though. Snark and whatnot are fine, but I had enough of that with Alistair. I'm in the mood for a little different flavor.



However, if Justice, or the experience of all that in general has altered him, and given him something of a difficult backstory, I can see myself romancing him if Fenris is not available.
