My guess was just that the bubble indicates that you can talk to the person (as you get close to them), not like they are talking. But I guess we will have to find out.

Actually, Anders has now been officially unveiled in the Characters page on the DA2 website, which confirms this.

Anyway, hi everybody, I just came in here to ask about Fenris's voice.  I think that "We should move on" from the video is him, because it doesn't sound like Varric (Brian Bloom), who is the only other person it could reasonably be.

And I *KNOW* I've heard that voice before, but I can't place it.  Seriously, it's dancing around the outskirts of my brain just of reach.  How about some voice-actor brainstorming?

EDIT:  I think it sounds like Nathaniel Howe's voice actor... but it's been hinted that Nathaniel himself will have a cameo, so I don't know how likely that is.

Someone needs to find out what baked good or controlled substance would work as a bribe!  FemHawke + Fenris in action would be awesome.  And no, I don't mean that kind of action.  Necessarily.  Not that it would be bad.

Yes he has a very nice voice.

Which was a bullet dodged considering how bad some JRPG english voice acting can be. I can still hear Farleen's screech. *cringes*

Hm...would they do that though? I thought there was a chance we could meet Nathanial in DA2. It would be odd to have a returning old companion (even if its just for a Cameo) and a full companion to have the same voice. Isn't that one of the reason's Isabela's voice was changed?

Yeah, I know.  It's probably unlikely for that reason... but it sounds so much like him, it really does!

If I cannot have Cloud-voice, I will settle for Nate-voice, or even Jake-voice. ...cept Australian on an elf would sound strange in the DA-verse, somehow. Though he did pretty well in taming it down in Avatar. So idk.

If not him, gimme Crispin Freeman. He's voiced the largest chunk of some of my most favorite vidyahs games/anime characters.

Assuming that Isabela's "Swashbuckler" is a specific form of "Duelist," and Merrill's "Falish Pariah" is a specific form of "Blood Mage" ... what about Fenris? Which spec is he the in depth version of?

My assumption is Reaver, just from the three available.

I would go on a pilgrimage *cough*long ass drive*cough,cough* to the BioWare offices to personally hug David Gaider (or whoever chose Fenris' VA) for that, before having to run from security. I adored Nathaniel's voice.

Not impossible though. In MotB, Crispin Freeman actually voiced Khai (that Red Wizard who killed caused Lienna to burn herself to a crisp, and then you kill in the Shadow Theatre) alongside voicing Gann.

I totally agree, MRC. But I have noted a strong hatred for Avatar in BSN, and so tend to try to downplay my Sam fangirlishness. Having Sam as Fenris would make my life more than Steve as Fenris. But either one would elicit extreme squees of delight.

I was guessing it would be some form of Fade Warrior similar to the Awakening spec, and because his glowy thing looks like Fade Shroud from the arcane warrior spec.

Re the VA, didn't Gaider say that if he told us the accent we'd guess the VA?  So I'm not sure how that would be the case for someone known for his English accent.  I still haven't heard the video so can't put in my .02.
