From what I've read Gideon Emery is one of the more realistic possibilities this thread has come up with. I would enjoy the aural stylings of Mr. Emery in this game. *thumbsup*

I know some people might object to this but I kinda hope Fenris isn't in the demo . I think I'd rather wait to meet him once I've got the real game in my hands. For now I'd just be happy to get a clear, proper clip of his voice in a dev diary or something.
(I wasn't even planning on playing the whole demo because I simply wanted to hear FemHawke's voice, but then I heard you get a bonus of some kind for finishing it...)

Truthfully, I think the demo will be leaked as soon as its opened to Gamestop employees on the 11th. I can't see them keeping the secret. And I think it was said that the demo is at the beginning and then has a mission that takes place a little later in the game. So maybe we'll have all the characters at that point and we can hear Fenris.

I would only think of getting the demo because of a character creator, but atm I'm mostly like "meh, why get a limited version when I can just wait two more weeks to get the real game"

The only thing I'm interested in right now is the remaining VA's and LI confirmation.

No. While you can modify your character in the main game, this is disabled in the demo

3 - Does the demo allow you to just start the full version of DA2 from where the demo leaves off?
No.
The demo begins with the beginning of Dragon Age II and then shows you a
glimpse of a mission that occurs later on in the game.

4 - Will it show off DX11 effects on the PC?
DX11 features will only be available on the PC purchase copy of Dragon Age 2.

If we go by the characters and their writers, if Fenris is not a LI I think it would be the first time that DG has not written one for a Bioware game. I could not find confirmation by I believe the other main character DG wrote is Bethany (not a LI for obvious reasons)

But then again...they may have forseen such a possiblity and only allow us companions who's voices we've already heard (Isabela, Varric, Carver, etc.)

That's what Chris said, I just don't know how far into the game the other mission is.

I was just reading an interview with Mike Laidlaw and I read something that I thought was really interesting...

"If you’re consistently being a rival, consistently telling them they’re doing things wrong, you’ll find that the interactions change. They can still “like” you, but they’re at odds with you on this certain issue. So your dynamic is different. I really like that you don't have to sacrifice your morals or make choices in game just to appease your favored LI, So if Fenris goes and "punch phases" through a bunch of innocent people's chests (not that the guy was necessarily innocent) I can still yell at him to not be such a homicidal maniac (not that he is going to be) and it could still end up in some form of romance. I think its more realistic that way. You're not going to have to compromise your beliefs to get some character to like you. It always bothered me in Origins because I felt like I constantly had to filter what I would say so that Alistair wouldn't hate me. Lol.
