That would mean meeting him for a brief moment in the Free Marches, him going back to Ferelden to become a Warden or get executed one way or another, and then returning to the Free Marches.
The epilogues for when he does not die, are mostly about him leaving the Wardens eventually, though.

Going back to Tevinters stealing the secret of immortality from elves (I know, a few pages back but can't remember where we left that conversation off), I was digging around in the codex for information on Dalish customs (trying to find info on the bonding ceremony in particular) and noticed this entry on Falon'Din:

In ancient times, the People were ageless and eternal, and instead of dying would enter uthenera-the long sleep-and walk the shifting paths beyond the Veil with Falon'Din and his brother Dirthamen. Those elders would learn the secrets of dreams, and some returned to the People with newfound knowledge.

Maybe the immortal elves did indeed have a way to move between the Fade and the real world..through a mirror perhaps? Anyway, it sort of stood out to me for some reason.

And if I recall, someone said the statue in that one concept art with Hawke and his/her party in what looks like the Deep Roads belonged to Falon'Din. Not sure if that is true or not but it was at the back of my mind when I was reading through the Wiki.

OMG THE POSE IS GREAT! You have a lot of talent to draw that! And i think Fenris is the only warrior elf up to date...
