Well, considering that he can phase through things, I don't think that'll happen. (unless the cage was enchanted or something, but meh)

Not many VA's have been confirmed. Might have to wait 'til release date to get that info. They aren't giving out LI info, either.

I think once we hear his voice properly, we'll be able to figure out who it is in five seconds flat. And then the devs won't really see any point denying it anymore. Just my guess.

Still, it's weird. We knew the whole DA:O cast by this point in development, save Zevran.

Well they confirmed Aveline NOT to be a LI so they kinda confirmed Merril/Izzie as being LIs :whistle:Not to mention the video in which Izzie was jumping on Hawke.

This makes me wonder just how you might potentially meet him and if he's particularly easy to miss since you can bypass him.  I definitely missed Sten the first time around in Origins and wouldn't want to miss Fenris!  I must talk to everyone!  

Now if only they would comfirm someone who isn't a female LI!

Pretty much as soon as we get to Kirkwall there is a time skip of a year. I assume after that is when we (as players) meet Varric and he tosses something at us. At this point, Hawke already knows Varric and some people. Then once we get to explore the city, we could meet Anders and stuff.

I have a feeling Fenris will be one of the later people we can recruit, if he's not plot-critical. From that video with him phase-punching a guy, it seems to me that is our introduction to Fenris. Which if so would mean we have to have Kirkwall on the "night" setting, since different things only occur at day time or night time in the city.

Seems like we meet Varric first, Anders after.

Since we need Anders' map to go into the Deep Roads, and the videos have shown Fenris in the Deep Roads, we could meet him before the expedition (same for Merrill).

After giving us two guys in Dragon Age: Origins, I'd hope they wouldn't go backward.

And ankuu, maybe Fenris is one of those characters that you can meet at any time after a certain point, you just have to go to the right place.

So unless we've only got two bi LI's this time around (one female and one male) then I'd say DA:2 is like Origins, and we're getting two for each gender, one straight, and one bi.

We are convincing Greg at least playing Awakening on FB at the moment. I wonder if he will chuckle the minute he hear himself saying: "I didn't do it!"

Same plans as me. Not gonna miss Fenris if you look everywhere-- he definitely stands out! I will cry if I do somehow miss him.

I completely missed Leliana in my first playthrough of Dragon Age Origins. I got to the end and was like, "Where's that redhead from the characters page?" Then I realized I lost her in Lothering.



Hopefully the same doesn't happen with Fenris or the other characters.

My roommate did the same thing. I was kinda surprised... It's not like Lothering is huge or anything!
