Wow that sucks!  You missed a lot if you've been away for a few days.  Did you see the video of Fenris awesome badass?  You can see him with Hawke and in action in this video, and we think (Gaider said he thought so but wasn't sure) it's him speaking at around 2:00- "we should move on."  Running forum guess from that line is that the VA is either Gideon Emery or Valen's VA, Frederick Zbryski.

That's the recap.  =]  Oh, and a nice character shot below.  Swoon ensues!

This is what I'm doing now. I lost all my saves as well, so I've spend this year replaying everything. Through with 2 playthroughs... only 2 more to go... but it's starting to get boring

I can't even finish the one. I have two that are over halfway, I'd say. But after beating the game all the way through once, and being at various stages on umpteen other files, I just can't do it. The mere though of doing the Deep Roads again is making me want to slit my wrists. I need to get on it, though, I guess. Only a few weeks to go. But tonight is not a good night to try and pick it up again. Promotion to manager = eh, okay. Area manager managing to ****** me off when I'm not even officially manager yet = this is really not boding well.

My mood is too poor for dragging through the Deep Roads. :P

Currently playing DA:O right now and I always save the Deep Roads for the end. The only way I can make it any faster is by finding a map online and just taking the quickest way through. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to do all those other chores for Bhelen or Harrowmont in Orzammar. Ugh, they're so annoying.

I don't mind Ostagar, or Fade. But I totally hate the Deep Road in Origin.

Don't mind them in Awakening and GoA though, strangely enough.

I didn't like the deep roads in Origins because there were so many paths to take that didn't really lead to where I needed to go, but I felt like had to go through them all anyway to level up and finish the quests. Basically the place was huge, but still managed to make everything seem both linear and redundant. (i.e. not fun)

I loved it in Awakening, though, especially the path under Vigil's Keep. I was dreading the Deep Roads because of my bad experience with Origins, but it came as a nice surprise. Mostly because I found it so cool that it was my basement that led there. Very neat.

Hrrrrrrmnn, rivalry romance scene:

She hated his eyes.  They burned through her like jade fire, saw everything.  It was unerving and it made her blood boil with indignant rage.  Before she could think he had grabbed her by the wrists and forced her
against the wall with his body, deceptively solid and immovable for his
willowy frame.  The stare he had leveled at her struck with the force of
an arrow.

"Take your hands off me," she seethed, "unless you're looking to lose them."

"I want to hear you say it."

"I'm giving you three seconds, then not even your shiny little trick is going to save you, they won't find all the pieces-"

"Say it," he growled.

"One," she began to count, struggling against him and finding his grasp to be iron.

"You're not even even trying," he said in a rushed, heated whisper "All you have to do is say it."

"Two," she spat.

He let out a snarl of frustration, his grip tightening on her wrists, the metal claws of his gauntlets digging into the soft flesh of her arm.  "You're going to
make me, aren't you?"

"Thr-"

A rush, a breath, his mouth colliding with hers in a graceless attack, his hands round her back and clutching her against him as if to smother her.  Reason departed, powerless in the face of primal, animalistic
need.  She couldn't think, couldn't breath, couldn't see, liquid fire raced through her blood, roaring in her ears, sparking at her finger tips and flashing white hot behind her eyes.  Her hands went round his neck, pulling him deeper, making him hers.  She wanted to kill him!  Burn him like he was burning her.  If she didn't fight back she didn't think there'd be anything left...

Just as suddenly and roughly as it had begun, the kiss ended as he ripped his mouth away and shoved her back against the wall, his chest heaving with deep, labored breaths.

"Say it."

"
I...hate...you," She said through clenched teeth and desperate inhalations.

"There," he said breathlessly, a self-satisfied smile flitting over his face, "that wasn't so hard.  Now prove it."

<_< This damn game cannot get here fast enough.

I shall keep this suggestion in mind. After a night's rest, perhaps my frame of mind will be better, and I can tackle that thing with a heavy dose of my music.

Also, the toast pic. :D I love it. ...and now I want some.

The bread has suffered as he has. He would not hurt it, even in anger.
Fenris : scars :: bread : toast

SO BAD. So bad. I'll go back to my corner now. Even though it was your joke.

Yes! Posted Image Sex, violence and making toast are all made much more interesting when phasing powers are added to the mix. Hmm...I wonder what other everyday, ordinary happenings can be made better with the addition of some awesome lyrium powers. Anyone?

I'm really sorry to hear about that. If you don't have the time or inclination to do another playthrough in origins, you can list the choices that are important for you for import. If someone else has the same game, they can send you their epilogue save file as your jumping on point for DA2. It's not really going to matter what the warden looks like. The warden's race might be acknowledged though. (I only say that based on the three default beginnings they provide to new DA2 players since dalish elf did US, DN did the drunkenstair, etc.)

I don't want a rivalry romance with anyone to culminate in hate sex with declarations of how much they hate each other. "Up against the wall" romance I picture as aggressive, but not necessarily hateful. :-/

I meant he would punch through the toaster.

Clearly, for hurting his toast so greivously.

Whever I saw Kitty Pryde in X-men I always wondered...can she phase all the way to the center of the Earth? Cause that would be pretty cool.

Maybe there's a mission in DAII where Fenris takes you there (she says in an effort to stay on topic.)
