I personally want to know at least how we happen across this pretty little elven boy, and where. I hate walking into games blind. :P Miss a whole bunch of things that way. Learning that, his VA and getting an LI confirmation will be enough for me. ^_^

What I'd like:
- LI confirm
- VA
- Where does he first show up (not specfic on what's going on, but just where. And if it's in the day or evening, so I can keep my eyes peeled at the right time of day and in the right area)

What I need for an attempt for a BSN blackout until post-March 8th:
- LI confirm ---> Dramatic squee post if confirmed as, and disappointed post if confirmed as not.

VA and LI confirmation, plz (and if it is Valen I will cry tears of joy and squee the house down) 'Twould make a nice B'day pressie *hintcoughtomozcoughhint*.

And I would like to know where because I am terrified of leaving him behind like I did Leli and Sten Posted Image

I second that birthday pressie :innocent: the 26th can't come fast enough for me

Anyways, yeah, I agree on where we'd find him; I never missed Lelianna and Sten but I'm actually terrified in missing Fenris :?

The tab key will be your best friend then, if you don't want to miss anything.

Maker knows how many times I've pressed that key in DA:O.

I didn't see Morrigan as a terrible person... I mean she was such a softie underneath so it's hard for me to label her that way.

I loved Morrigan a LOT -- and the Warden I'm playing through right now is BFFs with her so I'm feeling even more charitable to her than usual. But there was a pretty major issue with Morrigan, and that is her approval. She will approve of you doing some truly HEINOUS things that she, personally, wouldn't have approved of, imo. Like how she'll disapprove if you don't sacrifice the innocent elves to get a buff. That's not Morrigan, she's not that heartless. But there it is.

That's the issue I had with her ... her approval doesn't match her personality, not deep down. And if Fenris is the same way, that'll be pretty lame.

Yeah. I never understood that disapproval. It didn't make sense, especially when you play as a Dalish elf and one of her lines of dialogue are "Oh! My magic is similar to yours!" in a positive, happy-go-lucky way. Morrigan seemed to relate to the Dalish more than any other race and society, and appeared to admire them. In Witch Hunt, it certainly seemed to be the case, since she pretty much integrated into a Dalish tribe before swiping their goods. If anything, she'd be indifferent to which side should win.

Her desire to destroy the Circle and the "Chained Mages"? Totally understood that. Morrigan hates weaknesses, and hates people who choose to be weak.

I couldn't see Anders being the M/M option, it just wouldn't work in my opinion, he's just not got that way about it. His charm is obviously more directed at ladies...a "swooning" charm, if you will. I don't think his character would be the right option for the M/M category, and with Varric being the narrator, I doubt he's a LI. Which only leaves Fenris*lil' dance*, but it appears there's a lot of 'OMG! FENRIS 4 GRLZ ONLY!!1!!!1!' people, which I can't decide if it's supposed to be homophobic. If so, that means smiles on my face when he's being banged by dude Hawke...

...and lovin' it! =D ...

Funny how people perceive characters differently.  I totally could see Anders swinging both ways, and I would be surprised if he's not the male s/s LI.

Of course, we know jack.  And after today we still know jack about LIs.

I'm still under the impression that S/S characters will be optional recruiting only, like Isabela, Leliana, and Zevran.

I'm scared to death of missing Fenris. I have an attention span the size of a gran of rice, so unless I know where to look, nothing. That's...er...how I missed Sten, Leliana, Dog and hordes of side quests on my first playthrough. xD

I dont know if anyone else has noticed, but it cant be too far into the game that we recruit Fenris. Everytime he has been in the party with Hawke, Hawke has been at level 9 or so.

I'm really not worried about missing characters. I'm about as thorough as Dora the Explorer during my first play through. Go to every map, into every building, talk to every person... etc...

Granted there's still stuff that I always miss (sometimes over several play-throughs) but that's usually hidden dialogue, not something as big as a recruit-able character.

I tend to miss a lot of things because I only speak with "named" NPC's...If it only says something like "angry villager" I tend to ignore them 8U...Great mistake from what I've seen XD

I wonder which other party member Fenris will have the most conflict with.

Chris just hinted at a male character (by saying "dick") being a terrible person.

Probably Fenris seeing as how he kills that one guy.

I read that more to be Anders/Vengeance than Fenreis...but we all read what we want to read into things :)

Wasn't it mentioned in some preview that he is a stowaway on a ship ?

Hrmmm.

If he has a thing with Mages then Bethany and/or Anders seems likely...But he might find some common ground with Anders because of Vengence...Having a spirit taking over your body at a moments notice could be considered a kind of slavery.

I know Merrill is a mage too but it seems that Dalish mages are significantly different from their counterparts.

I can see him either getting along with Sebastian over their mutual crusades or being annoyed about how the other goes about it.

He and Carver might have some fireworks, but I don't know enough about either character really, it's just and feeling.

Varric and Isabela both seem clever enough and personable enough to tease Fenris without antagonising him.

My guess is not well at all...From what we know, one is very anti-mage (at least that'st he interpretation I have) while the other is very pro-mage...

Couldn't it be the ship Isabela mentioned?

Near as I can tell from reading and picking up things on the thread, my guess is that Fenris is the runaway slave that we're contracted to hunt down and return to his Kirkwall master (not the Magister)

Sorry to get off topic, but how did you miss all of those during your first playthrough?  Did you simply appear in Lothering and immediately run out the other side?
