Sure but it seems like pointless worrying.

@Tashash, don't worry about those. Worry about his eyebrow instead.

I jest.

I would say there's a good chance that Fenris is pro-Chantry at least in thinking that mages need a leash.

That would make it interesting if Hawke was being played as an apostate. Ya know, if Fen is indeed an LI option.

The Fenris Eyebrow probably works along these lines:

Random Bounty Hunter:
(panting) Well met elf, your master clearly did not lie about your prowess with a blade. I am clearly no challenge for you in blade, to blade combat, however it seems to be quite uncivilized for us to settle this matter with bloodshed. We shall settle this like gentlemen, I challenge you to a staring contest.

Varric: I'm not so sure you want to do that buddy.

RBH:
Nonsense, it is the honorable thing to do. Alright elf, ready. Set. Go.

(Fenris stares at the bounty hunter with a blank expression. As time passes the bounty hunter's concentration starts to weaken. Fenris raises an eybrow, causing the hunter's knees to shake, the elf then proceeds to raise his other eyebrow, causing the bounty hunter to explode in a bright flash of light.)

Fenris: (smirking) You blinked.

Hopefully he is not the type to blame all mages with the actions of a few. He was a slave I doubt he would want others treated in a smiler fashion.

That's the plan.  Rivalry romance, baby.

If he comes down that way, I would hope there would be chances to talk about how mages are an oppressed class under the White Chantry.  Should be interesting.

Hey, where can I find the prompts? They don't appear to be in the Fenris group. :/ Not the new ones, at least.

Ooh, is Fenris pro-Chantry or anti-Chantry? Because if he's pro-Chantry...I will be heartbroken. :(

My guess would be pro-chantry/anti-mage

I was going to complain about Fenris, the most likely m/m* companion, being another mincing stereotype, but after reading the companion wiki, there is no masculine companion to compare him to.

I don't know what to think now.  -_-If I play it at all, I'm just never going to bother with any of the romancing.  Who knows, maybe the game will be more fun if I just never get into it.

*s/s?  Seriously, who came up with that? :pinched: SS, or even s-s would make sense, but S/S implies [Same or Sex] or [Same On Sex].  S/S makes no sense as an abreviation.

Pyromania FTW!

So we can all see the direction of Crimsynn's first character.

I dunno... from my understanding, he escaped his master in tevinter. didn't her 'cargo' come from ferelden? Posted Image
of course, i might have looked at that wrong. it's late and i need mah sleep.

You are correct...she was talking about refugees from Ferelden who were sold into slavery

I have this mental image of Hawke showing Fen the... nicer aspects of magic. Posted Image

To keep this from going down a slippery slope, what does everyone thing about the lyrium burned into his skin? Do you think his amnesia will play a big role in his storyline? Is there a cure for it?

EDIT: Thanks bsb! I thought that was right, but my memory has been known to fail me on some occasions. Posted Image

Y'know, Gaider did say he wrote a romance for this game. And he is only writing one follower, that follower being dear Fenris.

There is a conclusion to be drawn here.

I found it hard to play anything but mages after a few runs through DAO.  Why stab things when you can blow them up with your mind?  I really like the new mage animations and most of the spell effects (not so crazy about the rock armor) plus with the templar plot line and meeting a Dalish mage, that's like a slam dunk.  And my first import will likely be an elf mage- probably my avatar mage- so I'm hoping there's a chance to comment on that.

This reminds me of this fanart which I love- probably my favorite of Fenris that I've seen yet, though Tamyn and Pseudo are both bargaining hard for that spot.

Hawke: I'll give you fifty sovereigns for the elf.

Merchant: Fifty? That's robbery. Look at him, he's got highly detailed pinstriping, and he comes with the underglow option. Clearly an elf of this caliber is worth more along the lines of a hundred sovereigns.

Hawke:
A hundred?! You can't be serious, does he at least come with a warranty?

Merchant: Lady, I'll ask you this. What will it take for me to sell you this fine elf today?

Hawke: How about a test drive? (Isabela snickers)

Fenris: I hate my life.

or it could go like this
   first four lines
Hawke: Or i could just kill you and be done with this ( hawke pull out one of her twin blades stabs the slaver and then pulls out the blade and throws it into the chest of one of the other slavers. Then the group kills the slaver)
Fenris: Don't pretend to work with slavers again Night.Please.

thats how i think it might go:whistle:

Love that Fanart!
Only problem I have with Mages is the inability to unlock things. Drives me nuts - I must open everything, little crazy-quirk of mine.
