I found Balthier really obnoxious (and I'm not feeling the line reading in the clip), but I found a lot of FFXII's localization to be so. Who in the anglophone world and the year of our lord 2006 uses the word "fete" as often as the people in that game did? No one! Stop it, game.



I'm sure the voice'll grow on me, though, like Zevran and Leliana's eventually kinda did. Anyway, pumped! Here's hoping someone confirms we get to Do Him soon enough.

I hope he's as romantic as Valen was. Can you imagine DAT VOICE saying something along the lines of, 'I would storm the Black City itself to get you back to me, I swear it!'

Yes, that voice has such potential. Romantic lines and sexual innuendos galore! I hope the Devs made the most of it. I would love to see him all jealous and possessive in party banter. (Maybe wishful thinking though since I doubt I'll be able to bring myself to romancing Anders, while he is speaking)

What I love about Bioware characters is that they're all so psychologically interesting. I mean, here we are just speculating on all the possibilities of ONE character, and we don't even have any real evidence yet! I can't wait to see how his character plays out. I'm not going to say that part of me isn't squeeing like crazy in superficial terms because I'd be lying through my teeth, but of even if he turns out completely different from how everyone expects I still think he'll be an *attractive* character.



What I mean is that the lovely, beautiful, amazing writers have said they're building more on building up both personal stories and the hooks into the main story than in DA:O... so regardless of whether it's predictable or completely you're-totally-wrong-GTFO, by the time it gets to decision making we're going to be so tied in with our characters that it won't even matter what WE think.



Is that just me getting too into the game when I play? I don't know. Anyhow, I digress.



I do hope Fen doesn't die, and I hope he's a LI. But we'll see. The game isn't just about Fen, after all. Now I'll just be grumpy and mean to my friend in Louisiana because she gets the game three days before me. =3 Much love for Bioware... and dragons. Gotta love dragons

I've been trying to listen really hard to what they're saying underneath the commentator. I think I can hear the first thing the one guy is saying is, "Don't think I can't see what's going on here..." followed by, "All of you, put down your weapons! NOW!" Then his buddy staggers around the corner gushing red.

Although I'm probably wrong. I can't hear very well. These German guys speak very loudly.

You're doing better than me at hearing Mr. Doomed.  At the end, though, I wonder if Fenris is saying  "Don't touch me."
