I had been planning to be an aggressive, mean, hard ass, sarcastic anti-hero from the beginning so if Fenris is part of the package I'm psyched.

I really hate it when they talk over him i mean they talked over a great voice ans what he had to say must have been important i mean its Fenris that they talked over (sigh)Ex-Paladin wrote...

See 02.45-03.31 for the introductory scenes joined together. He gives such a great stare at the end. Pity I can't hear what he's saying.

I've been trying to listen really hard to what they're saying underneath the commentator. I think I can hear the first thing the one guy is saying is, "Don't think I can't see what's going on here..." followed by, "All of you, put down your weapons! NOW!" Then his buddy staggers around the corner gushing red.
Although I'm probably wrong. I can't hear very well. These German guys speak very loudly.
You're doing better than me at hearing Mr. Doomed. At the end, though, I wonder if Fenris is saying "Don't touch me."
I have headphones. They're pumped up all the way (I'm on my laptop right now, so I can get it pretty high, but not as high as my main computer. I'm tempted to get up and get on that one to use it to my advantage), and I'm pressing them into my ears as far as I can go.
I can't make out a word of what Fenris is saying after he punches through the other guy like he's a really thin sheet of glass.
=EDIT=
*Holds out a loaded shotgun* Please, someone put me out my misery! I keep making errors!

Rose Hawke contemplated the attack strategy in the solitude of her room. Bleak moonlight subtley formed a hazy, albeit romantic, sheen upon her window. She yawned loudly, brushing a stubborn strand of strawberry blonde hair behind her ear.
Fenris lightly knocked upon her door, pointed ears flicking. Rose delicately folded the worn parchment up and set it back onto the table. She gracefully floated to the door, fumbling with the handle before swinging it open.
Fenris took this as a cue to come in. He confidently sauntered in. This was slightly uncharacteristic of him unless the matter was rather important. "Hawke, I've been thinking. I get this strange feeling around you. It concerns me, and I wish to know why you force me to feel so...Gitty...." He muttered, completely at a loss for words on how to place his emotions.
"I, uhm, well, I'm sorry?" She replied, uncertain of what to say, really.
Fenris took another brazen step towards her, closer than a 'friendly' distance would be. Rose took a small step back, eyebrow raised. Fenris continued to approach, his mossy green eyes filled with confusion, and a hint of affection.
Rose bit her lip, feeling the cool stone wall against her fingertips. Fenris gently, ever so carefully, even lovingly, pressed her into the wall, "What. Is. Love?" He questioned, uncertainty ruling his tone.
but the "What is Love?" line killed my immersion.

It was supposed to a bit of a fluff, since I don't really see Fenris as an aggressive push up against the wall type.
Might make an alternative ending, though.

I agree with you other then the rose petals.
I know-- why not lilies? Or white irises? Or snowdrops? Or atropa belladonna (a.k.a. nightshade. Of the toxic variety.)?

"Fenris, what is thi-Mmph!" She was silenced by an electrifying, fiery kiss. Rose didn't dare object. Their lips melded together as if they fit like puzzle pieces. He sweetly broke off to kiss her neck, not saying another word. Everything he knew about love was confused and blurry. Yet this felt so right, so perfect. Fenris released Rose from his surprisingly gentle and caring grip., eyes full of desire. "Perfect." He whispered to her, a sly smirk playing at his lips.

And this makes me think of the Rose Alistair dialogue where you ask him if the rose is his new weapon of choice
Edit: That is of EPIC proportions ninja... i approve!

As usual the fool left the door unlocked. With a bit of a snort Fenris locked the door behind him and looked across the darkened room at Hawke's back. Not a single stir.
Oblivious as always. It's a wonder Hawke's still alive.
Silently he walked into the room and laid down his weapon. The sword was astonishingly light and glowed slightly from Hawke's enchantment. The weapon itself was of fine make sturdy with a razor sharp edge. It was plain however no ornaments or decorations, nothing except for the silverly glow to distinguish it from any other sword. Fenris remembered Hawke giving it to him while rambling before running off to help some unfortunate soul not get skewered by bandits.
Hawke...trusting and willing to sacrifice everything for people that frankly did nothing to earn such favor.
Foolish is what it was and yet...that same willingness to plunge headlong into the abyss to save someone...isn't that why he was here?
The fire crackled as Hawke flipped another page the humming soon joined by the creaking of the rocking chair. Fenris shook his head and continued towards Hawke but didn't make it three steps before he paused. Would Hawke understand? Be willing to listen to his plea? Would Hawke help him because it was him or merely because that's what Hawke saw as best? Fenris didn't remember what it was like to have someone he could rely on...someone he could call a friend or anything really. There had only been the Magister, his slaves, and bystanders. Somehow Hawke had become something that he couldn't quite define.
He knew of the concept of friendships and love of course but he wasn't sure that this is what he felt. He didn't know what exactly to say or even how to say it. Steeling himself he walked forward before freezing again.
This was ridculous. He wasn't afraid of Hawke. Of being refused. He certainly wasn't afraid of Hawke's judgement. Who cared what the mage thought? But even as he thought this he knew he was lying to himself. He was never one for self-delusion. He cared what the mage thought, more than anyone.
With a deep breath he walked forward. "Hawke...I require your assistance on a...personal matter." he waited for Hawke's usual acceptance that was given to anyone that needed aid.
"Of course Fenris. What is it?" Hawke spoke before even glancing from the book held in a light grasp. Fenris wasn't sure if the quick response made him grateful, relieved or frustrated. It seems he wasn't unique to Hawke at all.
All he was to Hawke was another person to save.
Bad attempt at angst is bad.
And I apologize for OOCness.

Six months after Fenris was joined them, she asked him.
"Fenris? I have a question for you." Hawke said carefully. She did her best not to offend any of her companions, and Fenris was usually the touchiest in that area.
"Just the one?" Hawke bit back her irritation at his sarcastic retort.
"Yes. I wanted to ask...what do you think of, when you look at me?" the question was, she knew, odd. But hey, she was curious, especially since Fenris stared at her a lot (she didn't read anything into it; even in the brief time they'd spent together, she knew he was no drooling lecher).
"Mage." he answered easily. "And from that...untrustworthy. Enemy." and then he walked away.
A year later, she asked again his answer?
"A trustworthy leader." But the next year, he surprised her.
"Hawke." he began uncertainly. "You've been asking me this question, but I want you to answer it for me this time. What do you see when you look at me?" She was quiet for a moment. But he was used to that; Hawke always thought over her answers before giving them. Just one of her many good qualities he liked.
"I see..." He took in a sharp breath, fearing her answer for no other reason then it was coming from Hawke. "a friend. Someone I trust with my life." he blinked, taken aback momentarily by this. Then the corners of his lips lifted slightly.
"Thank you...Faline. I feel the same way."
Random// Fenris reminds me of Sheldon Cooper for some reason.

Also, I'm not very good at posting images so this could turn out too small or something.
Anyway, I'm loving the new elf style, I think it really is noticable in this pic.

I'm sure you guys have talked about this but I keep thinking back to what Chris said about somebody being a "dick"? There's really no proof it might be him but with the kind of background Fenris has, I would assume he has a lot of hurt and will probably come off as a really difficult person or even mean?
Not that fangirls will mind the challenge.
P.S: Any banners anybody is willing to share? I need to come around here more often!!
