Chris in the "core" of the game, shouldn't he had known more about the characters? Maybe it is someone who you would never expect to be an ass...Merril? She is a keeper and has never walked out of the forest, so she might be bossy and mean. In Origins i thought she was like that. But then again Mary said she is cute.

Seb is a good candidate. He is noble, so he might act superior since Hawke is a poor refugee. Not to mention that he seems proud.

Anders - He was an amiable sort in Awakenings, wasn't he? I can understand why someone would be surprised if he was jerkish in DA2.

Sebastian - I believe I got a "holy crusader" feel from him. In that respect, one could be surprised if he was mean.

Varric - He's supposed to be Hawke's friend (at one of the devs said that), so you could say that may be surprising.

I believe that there is no set order in which you get them as companions after V and Aveline I don't think...

Yeah, Ser Gaider said that he is not the same person anymore...But Jeniffer Hepler added that he still has some snark inside. Maybe the Vengance moments make him a dick.

My reaction to Anders being the supposed a-hole character is "OMGNOWAI, CAN'T BE TEH SNARKALICIOUS ANDERS!11!"

But then the Vengeance thing kicks. In the back of my mind I still think it's Carver, but... damn. I don't even know any more.

Anders being a dick would definitely be a surprise. But I actually think it's likely, too. He's exhausted in that one video and is apparently struggling daily with containing Vengeance, so maybe it's made him grumpy and liable to uncharacteristically lash out at people.

Hawke: No. We're going to go and punch Vengeance in the face until Anders is back to his old sarcastic self. Just remember, demons tend to take the form of whatever you're thinking of at the time. So whatever you do don't think of anything that could kill us. (The pair finallly find Vengeance) Fen, what were you thinking of?

Fenris: The Fluffy Puff Marshmallow dwarf. Why?
