By that description, I'm pretty Chaotic Neutral in real life. xD that explains...a lot.

So...what do you think the situation for first meeting Fenris is? I *want* to think that Hawke and co. were hired to track down a runaway slave (Fenris), but once they find him and talk to him a bit, they learn the whole truth. But...-sigh- I'm delusional, most likely.

I kinda thought morrigan to be chaotic stupid sometimes. I hope he does not like to kick mabari puppys.

I said something kinda similar in my guess on page 667. I think he's announcing it for his own benefit more than to warn the guy. But then he went and touched him.

He is the one I'd wager to kill for the least provocation amongst the current roster though. And being the most self-assured (in the ability to kill stuff).

Definitely. It's like he's saying he wins to provoke the guy into attacking him, so he can have an excuse to slay him.... and not that he intended to let him escape.

And the way he puts his back to that guy like he's a fly and not an armored merc/soldier/whatever. Soooo cocky.

She hits it quite a few times. Redcliffe and the mage's tower are where it really shines.

Several times in game I just blinked at the screen and went "Really? Really?

Anyways I hope Fenris doesn't end up like that.

I don't mind him being like Miranda with pratical advice (I just hope he doesn't end up going "PICK ME!") that's cold. But if it's inpractical and cold I wouldn't mind him keeping his mouth shut.

After watching the video over and over, when Fen is talking to the "ringleader" he actually walks past him without even looking in his direction. To me it seems like Fen is walking more towards Hawke & Co, do you guys think that Fen is actually talking to Hawke, thinking he is the "ringleader"? :)

I'm not sure...

For some reason I keep thinking that the trap was set for Hawke & Co and not for Fenris at all. But that Fenris just was there at the wrong (or is that right?) place and time. Maybe Fenris knows that the 'ringleader' (WTF?) is after him and he has no idea that Hawke also has business with him.

I have no idea, but I was thinking about this while I was working. xD

You mean like her wanting to kill mages for being in the tower? Or that you should leave the village that is vital to your efforts to burn? (I'm aware that there may have been some options cut in the latter one, thus making hers and Sten's reaction more reasonable, something like infiltrating the castle while the attack happens)

While I did like Morrigan, she did suffer from chaotic stupid quite often.

I think that he would be classified as neutral evil/true neutral in the D&D thing. He doesn't mind killing but he doesn't want it either. Might have been because the mercs were sent by his master, but that is what I got from the short impression.

Omg I wasn't aware I was using a Valen quote xDD Which is it?
Reminds me I never did get to play Awakening.
Sorta a Valen quote. He tells you that he ''would storm the Nine Hells to get you back'', and I remembered Tank saying a while back that she would love to hear a similar quote from Fenris, along the line of ''I would storm the Black City to get you back".

The serendipity! 'Tis fate!
Hehehe. That line was from my beloved Zevran: "Would Storm the Black City to be by your side.

I'm counting on Fenris being the aforementioned jerk.

A guy with a past you should feel sympathetic towards him for but an attitude that punts all sympathy out the window. Sounds fun to write.
Like Bishop? {smilie}
Minus the betrayal bit
Pseudo, don't worry. Bishop, strictly speaking, doesn't not belong to BioWare. It's Obsidian's creation, just like Atton Rand and Mical.

He doesn't, but he did give a warning before pwning him. Just musing, but maybe that's a sign of mercy. Somewhat. Otherwise he could have just killed the all straight off and been done with it.

I picture Fenris trying to cultivate some sort of superstition among the men that his Master sends after him. He just wants to be left alone. So if he comes off as this cold-blooded killer that scares people away it keeps him safe.

I can imagine it now:

(A tavern in the Tevinter Imperium)

Mercenary: Did you hear about that elf Gareth's men went after?

Bounty Hunter: Yeah, I heard that it tore this guy's heart out with his bear hands

Pirate: That's nothing I heard that it took out have a legion of Auxilia with nothing but a rusty dagger.

Mercenary:
You couldn't pay me enough to go after that guy.

(The Magister walks into the tavern)

Magister: (In a loud booming voice) Greetings gentlemen! I come with a proposition for you, how would you all like the chance to serve your Imperium? (no one stands up) I am willing to pay a hefty sum for your services! (everyone remains seated) Anybody? (sighs and walks out of tavern)

Bartender: I don't even want to know what that maniac is doing right now.

(Meanwhile in Kirkwall)

Fenris: (petting a kitten behind the ears) Who's a good kitten?

It is an old term, and the opposite of "Lawful Stupid".

Edit: In origins, that would have been Sten.

After awhile I just got used to Morrigan's constant complaints about my goodness.

'Yes, yes Morrigan. I know you'd rather I drown those puppies. Here's a golden mirror, ok?'

Pretty much as soon as you did their side quests, everyone loved you.
