I think that he just was showing pure hatred for the magister's goons. My guess would be that he is dark/irritable/but a softie on the inside

I hope he won't be as transparent as Jack if that was the case.

I agree, like someone said earlier. I didn't really consider Bishop my kind of romance--but the fact that throughout NWN2, he didn't suddenly burst out saying "I didn't mean to turn out this way! I really just want to love and be loved in return!" was really refreshing to me. Bishop is, in fact, 'chaotic evil,' (as the wiki site states) however, what I really respected about him, was he owned it. He didn't hide behind the 'i've had a troubled childhood' veils, he knew what he was, and most importantly, he was
content with what he was.
Like I said earlier, I would not think of romancing him, because I was somewhat wary of being shanked in my sleep by him. But goddamnit, you really had to respect the guy.
In this way, Bishop made me think about Sten, who, though I had many disagreements throughout the journey with, still gave me his approval. I loved that. In that way, I think Sten was the only character in Dragon Age: Origins whose approval system kinda goes along with the approval system that will be implimented in DA:2. But I digress.
