Yeah I'm really going to spam Isolde of all people.
Really? I have a sig sure but it's easily checked. There's no outside links except for ones for polls and groups.

Blood. Blood was welling beneath her fingers. She pressed her fingers harder into his chest, trying to hold the blood in, trying to hold his life inside of him, trying to stop him from dying,
Please, Maker, please don't take him from me. Please no. Please.
Fenris and Varric had left to try and scourge up lyrium potions, health poultices, anything. She was glad. Glad that they weren't here to see the tears flowing down her cheeks, glad that they couldn't see her in this state.
Carver groaned and shifted uneasily in his blissful unconsciousness. Rowena bit her lip and pressed her fingers harder against his chest, her tears merging with her baby brother's blood.
It had all happened so fast. She has been in the back with Varric, firing off spells, with Carver and Fenris bringing down darkspawn left and right. Fenris had run off to take on three more of the monsters, leaving her brother with one Profane. And that Carver had slain easily.
It was the second one that got him.
She had seen it rear up behind him, had screamed for him to run, had flashed back to that terrible day when they fled Lothering, because Carver turned around, like Bethany had, to see what was behind him. If he hadn't--if Bethany hadn't, either--if he had just run, he would have been safe. Instead, the Profane raked its claws down his chest, leaving five long, terrible, bleeding claw-marks. She had screamed as her brother crumpled to the ground.
Thank the Maker for Fenris. If he hadn't seen what was happening and jumped between the Profane and her brother, Carver would have died for sure.
As it was, he still might die from those terrible wounds. Rowena had no Mana left. They had nothing to bandage his wounds with, no Lyrium, nothing. And they were in the Deep Roads--too far to run back for Anders or Merril.
She could do nothing.
She was useless.
Her brother, her poor baby brother, was dying, just like Bethany had died. It had taken her mother months to speak again. Almost a year to smile.
Carver's death would break her, kill her. Kill both of them.
No. No. No. Please no. Please Maker, please don't take him from me to.
Soft footsteps, barely discernable, sounded behind her. Footsteps means someone had returned. Footsteps meant someone had found something that would save her brother's life.
Rowena raised one hand to wipe hastily wipe away her tears before glancing over her shoulder. Fenris was standing behind her, his pale green eyes fixed on her.
His hands were empty.
No.
"What is it, Fenris?" Rowena was proud that even now, even though she was breaking down, her voice remained steady.
He stared at her, his eyes unblinking. "Has Varric returned?"
"No." Please go away. Please go away before I start crying again. Please.
She didn't want to be seen crying. She needed to be strong. Strong for Fenris and Varric, strong for Carver and her mother. Strong as she had been strong when she had ran with from Lothering with her mother and brother, leaving her dead sister's body for the darkspawn. Strong even though she was breaking inside.
Fenris hesitated. His eyes remained fixated on her own deep blue ones, deep blue eyes that were red from crying. "Use me." he said finally.
Rowena blinked. "What?"
"The lyrium," Fenris swallowed. He seemed to have difficulty in speaking the words. "The lyrium in my veins. The magister was able to harness it, to use it to power his own spells. You should be able to do the same."
She stared at him. She could see memory of pain in his eyes. She could see that if she accepted his offer, she would hurt him. She didn't want to hurt him.
But she didn't have the strength to refuse. "Thank you."
He crouched next to her, holding out his arm, his face expressionless. She lifted her hand and placed it on his arm, over his brands. She closed her eyes and whispered the healing spell.
Fenris's brands glowed pure blue as she drew on them for Mana. She heard his soft hiss through gritted teeth. She opened her eyes to see his eyes squeezed shut, his teeth bared. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry.
The blood flowing beneath the fingers on her other hand slowed to a trickle, then stopped. The wound sealed itself up, leaving five faint scars. Carver's breathing grew steadier. He would live.
Rowena released Fenris's arm. His task done, Fenris rose to leave.
"Fenris."
He paused and turned to see Rowena looking up at him.
"Thank you. You saved my brother's life." Rowena took a deep breath and smiled. "If you ever need anything...I'll do whatever I can to help."
Fenris looked slightly uncomfortable at being praised. He nodded and started to leave, but something made him stop, turn back to Rowena, and give her a small smile before walking away.

I shouldn't have to turn of my speakers (not that I need to soundmixer ftw).
I happen to be watching (listening) to a youtube vid. Why should I have to stop for some idiotic troll?
