25 it's hard to tell with elves.

elves age differently even though they are still mortal...he could be in his 60's for all we know.

Though he looks well kept for a senior citizen.

I imagine a paranoid drunk, actually :D

*Fenris is hiding under a table*

Hawke: ...What are you doing?

Fenris: It's watching... watching me. I'm hiding. Have to hide.

Hawke: *suddenly alert* Who's watching you?

*Fen raising a shaky hand to point, mid-hiccup, at a small dog staring at him from the other side of the room. Upon noticing that two pairs of eyes are now set on it, the pet's tail gives an energetic wag. Fenris shivers.*

Hawke: Um. It's a dog.

Fenris: That's w-what they people want you to think! *crazy stare*

Hawke. ...... *looks at small dog again*

*The dog's tail starts wagging again. It heaves itself from its wicker basket and pads over to where Hawke is knelt.*

Fenris: It'll ge... it'll get you!

Hawke: ...... Fenris.... *facepalm*

*The dog starts to run*

Fenris: *SCREAMS AND RUNS INTO A WINDOW*

---

.... Ahh, I can only dream. :wizard:

Dog: Elven Coward!!

Hawke:

I wonder if Fenris has a form of post dramatic stress disorder.

Lets not forget the absolutly horrible cameo he'll have for the next game.<_<

I've never seen said cameo (probably because the second game decided to stop working before I even got of Pergasus).

he talks about how he once knew Revan, asks if you've seen him, then says goodbye.

Since he is stoic/serious type by nature he would probably be intellectual drunk, debating about life, more than anything else. I can't imagine him as a happy drunk.

Why would he ask if you've seen Revan when nobody even knows what Revan looks like. (With the obvious exceptions of party members who I don't see spreading it around).

Edit: And it makes even less sense because why would he have known Revan was...Revan?

Carver:
(Fenris is observing Sebastian and Hawke talking in the Amell Estate courtyard with a suspicious eye)

Carver: (walking up to Fenris) There is something rotten in the town of Kirkwall.

Fenris: You can feel it as well?

Carver: There's something...off about him. Something that isn't quite right, but its not like Anders where that, thing is blatant. No whatever is in him is much more subtle.

Fenris:
He's a noble, you always trust them to stab you in the back while they smile to your face. No offense.

Carver: None taken. Is it wrong that I want to keep her safe?

Fenris:
She's your sister and you care about her, wanting to protect her is completely understandable.

Carver:
Is it? I'm a regular man Fenris, a regular man born into a family of mages, ever since we lost dad I've been the one who has to look out for them.

Fenris:
A great responsibility.

Carver:
Indeed. Yet she was the one who got us to Kirkwall safely, not me. I couldn't ever protect Bethany.

Fenris: Bethany?

Carver: (sighs) She was my twin sister, and an apostate. We faced an ogre on the highway into the city, she died saving me. I can't fail again, I can't lose her too.

Fenris: (placing a hand on Carver's shoulder) You won't, not if I have anything to say about it.

Carver:
So you're interested in her as well? Was this just a ploy to get into her good graces by brefriending her kid brother?

Fenris: I kneel before no man. I simply wish to protect her, she has been a welcome friend in this strange land and I wish to return the favor.

Carver: I'm sure you do.

Fenris:
Believe what you wish, I will protect her with my life.

Carver: As will I.

Fenris: We are in agreement then. (Fenris turns and starts to walk away)

Carver:
Wait! I should apologize, I'm an idiot aren't I? (Fenris raises an eyebrow) You don't have to agree with me so quickly! Look, I just wan't to say thanks, for listening to me, for being there for her. It means a lot to me.

Fenris:
You're welcome.

I understand the cameo as it is doesn't seem to make much sense.

Fenris though...what kind of weapon do you think best suits him. 2HD sword, axe or maul? I go with the sword personally.

Tankgirly posted this image earlier in the thread, and I found it surprising that no one actually commented on it. I think we were in the middle of troll-rage then. I don't know if it's old, I haven't seen it before, but I'll re-post it anyway.

*snip*

His expressions in that brief video were discussed a little bit (before the trolling started). I mentioned how much I loved the scowly-face, and that I love relationships that start off with bad first impressions, which is what that scene appears to be all about. I think Fenris totally has a "Who the hell are you and don't even try to mess with me" look. :D

Hmm... I've been thinking.

I'm not sure that Fenris was a slave too long after receiving his lyrium power. I mean, if Fenris has the ability to phase through objects, I can't imaging him sitting in a cell or shackeled to a wall for years before realising "Wait a second! Why haven't I just phased through these restraints *facepalm*".

I'm just wondering how it happens because, if I remember correctly (and correct me if I'm wrong) Fenris used his new power to escape from the Magister, right?

Agreed, and you can't really blame him.
I really hope we have to wait to long before we can recruit him..

Maybe he didn't realize he had that kind of power until recently. Perhaps they normally kept him drugged up and out of it, and then someone slipped in guard duty and that's how he got his chance to escape.
