I was in NSAS (Thane group)  for a long time. There were many, many disturbing things asked. Much discussion as to the shape of certain aspects of male drell anatomy. The term twizzler came up frequently. I'll leave you to the rest. And someone on here had a whole pseudo-scientific explanation of how Quarian sweat was an aphrodisiac. Dig more. You will find far more disturbing things than I've ever seen in here. Glowing semen is child's play.

Did anything of that happen before release? My point is, when a thread gets sufficiently long, the oddness comes with it per definition.

The internet can indeed be a scary place. I like to think it's akin to walking into a room full of drunk people - everyone's dirty laundry and hidden (and/or kinky) issues come out to play.



Anyway, I still cannot reconcile Fenris' voice to his physical appearance. I hope it goes away. I really love Balthier's VA and adore the idea of a more masculine elf but...my brain is having trouble with it all. =(

I'm not sure how much of it did or didn't, to be honest. I avoided the forums prior to ME2's release. From what they told me of the old Bioboard's Thane-topic, it was about as bizzare as Tali's at time, and in many regards worse than this one. And it's only gotten worse as time passes.



But we are a very, very long way from the oddest group on BSN. And until the devs treat us with the same dismay as they did the Talimancers, I won't consider us having toppled anyone. And frankly, I don't think it's a goal we should aspire to. There are reasons I'm no longer in the NSAS. Some personal, others more related to the weird.

I'm hoping once I see his face while hearing the voice, it will help me get over the odd desire to just stick Balthier's personality into Fenris' body. Unless, of course, they are very similar in that regard, but something tells me that is unlikely. Or I would hope not. It would be kind of hard to keep them separate in my mind if they were too similar.

Yeah I don't think so either. Balthier had more swagger, but I think Fenris will be more deadpan/sardonic.
