I'm having trouble deciding which class to play...i like mages...Femhawke mage and fenris? Rogue with izzy? Hmmm.....So many options....

Make a character, get over how ugly it is (because we've all had those times in the CC) and awkwardly make your way through the game with the strategy guide glued to your lap even though you're playing on Casual difficulty. (Guide mostly for what not to say to the LI you wish to snag.) Then shamefully delete the character after you finish the game.

This is what I usually do the first time I play a new RPG. 

ANYWAY. I'm soooo going to roll a rogue first time through. I love them armors.

I have developed a stragety to romancing Fenris; stay friends with him for the first six months, then maybe add some light flirting in to see how he reacts. After the first year with him is over, flirt a little bit more heavily, until you gradually leave the friend's zone. May take three years to finally rmance him. Worth it? Totally.

You could try warriorHawke/Izzy. You have reach, she has flexibility?
I wonder which of the three would be best for Fenris. Rogue or mage?

This is what I usually do the first time I play a new RPG. 

... That... is pretty much what I do as well. xD *spends HOURS in the CC before giving up* No strategy guide for me, though.  I like to play it fresh the first time.  I usually save guides/hidden quest tidbits for the second play through. =)

Nop. BW confirmed all the LI . We all got what we wanted.

The only down side is Varric is  not an LI (look at the pool of crying tears at Varric's thread).

LOL thats one reason i get the guide...secondly i kind of collect them anyway...have loaaads of FF ones. And thirdly i like pretty pictures.

Though i cannot make an ugly character.....i simply cannot  come away from the CC screen until i'm happy. Then mods come out......XD

I can't even play it the day it comes out, as i'm in uni i've had it sent to my home address, so the soonest i'll get to play it, baring in mind i will only play it when my guide has arrived as well out of paranoia.....19th/20th march......*sigh* Plus exams will be close, so DA2 will have to be my chocolate inbetween revision.

But let's get back to Fenris. Be a shame if this thread got locked right after we learn he's an LI.

It may require you to be a more aggressive character to friend him, at the expense of creating rivalries with the rest of the party. He doesn't seem to like diplomacy much.

I´m almost disappointed that Fenris is LI, not that I wouldn´t  want him to be one, but  he was quite obvious choice. So there was no big suprise, for me at least, that he was one (well neither was the other LIs that got confirmed).
