Omigosh, I was just thinking that I really hope one of the many talented artists around here will illustrate the Fenris short story! Preferably in comic form but even just one scene would be awesome (like the "HarHar, boobs *grin*" scene).

That could be an excellent way to create emotion. I could see it going so many ways. Fenris and Hawke might have to split apart or keep it a secret. I doubt Kirkwall would appreciate there ruler/arl/whatever-Hawke-is loving an elf.

That could happen with any of the romances. A hedonist pirate? An elf? An escaped Tevinter slave who is ALSO and elf? An abomination?
A few things revealed so far about this game make me think it's all about revolution/shattering/changing what people have stood for for so long.
Romance would be one thing; I think any political folks would have more an issue with Hawke protecting apostates.

I like the way you think.

I guess it depends on whether or not Hawke takes the throne in a 'literal' sense (meaning: he is KING, no questions asked) or if his role is more... political leader.

Either way, I could see this happening with all four of the romance choices, not just Fenris.

Isabela - pirate with a shady past, definately not a nomblewoman.
Fenris - Escaped Tevinter slave, plus an elf.
Merrill - Almost worse, being Dalish.  Most 'civilized' societies have their marriages sanctioned by the Chantry of Andraste, and Dalish elf would OBVIOUSLY be a non-believer of the faith.
Anders - Like Merrill, only human, plus an abomination/apostate/revolutionary who wants to overthrow the Chantry.

LOL! I actually like his confidence... Zev was pretty high on himself too, but I ended up adoring him. Fenris's brand of  cockyness seems a liiiitttllllee bit different. There is probably a better word out there, but it escapes me.  Then again, I'm gonna enjoy the lil showdown between him and my Hawke. She has bit of an ego to her too... They can be cocky together.
