I think they're more than 2 bi romance. Why? Because when someone asked who will be for which gender, the mod says that we'll have to "play to find out " ... if it's not a big clue, then I don't know what it is. ^^

I think they said that before for the Origin romances, IIRC.
And, again if I remember correctly, a lot of people were sure that meant Morrigan was going to be the Bi option, so...yeah. Shows what we know.

Yes this. But the origin romances were also revealed about 2 weeks before lauch so we just have to wait a bit to find out who the m/m option is.

Going by the hints the devs have given, like in this thread, I'm gonna guess that not all LIs are bi. I think we'll get the two straight, two bi formula again.solstickan wrote...
Just because of this secrecy I'm starting to believe they are all bi. If that is the case, BioWare wins the cookie troophy for containing the most awesome since the Big Bang. It's not that I would play it gay that much, but I'm all for love for all! And I could romance Fenris with maleHawke aswell. Yay!
I actually prefer it that way, because making all the LIs bi, while not a farfetched option, seems like it'd be too much like fanservice... and less like actual character writing. I also want to respect the writers' wishes when it comes to deciding what kind of people their characters are - it's their right to decide that their character is bi or straight as an arrow, and how badly fans want them to be only straight or fully bi shouldn't influence that.

I'm sure all of the bisexual/homosexual fans appreciate this. :|
Considering romances in games are optional and fanservicey anyway...

It could also be that all the romances are bisexual to everyone... but that'd be my least favorite option.

Being bi-/homosexual isn't that rare, you know. I don't see why Hawke wouldn't have the fortune to run into four of them in Kirkwall/The Free Marches. But yeah, I guess it is not so likely after all...

I wouldn't be so sure.
Earlier on in... some thread (I honestly don't remember which one any more) someone told me that DG had confirmed there would only be one m/m romance, and linked me to a dev quote, which I then misread and got completely depressed about, because I was hoping for all bi LI.
I brought it up later in the m/m thread (although, upon rereading the quote, it wasn't so much confirmation as a strong indication) and DG was quick to correct me on this page here.
I feel like a bit of a noob for not being more clear in my post, but hey, at least this doesn't mean that an all bi party is completely out of the question.

It claims the Great Poobah said this:
David Gaider: "I'm certain that, whoever it is, there will be at least twenty people who will immediately fly to the internet to tell us how ugly and/or inappropriate he is as a m/m romance."
Err...Neither Anders nor Fenris are ugly or inappropriate....Weird. I'm going to see if I can find his original post.

Beauty is subjective and people were saying they found Fenris unattractive. So not that far out there.

Recall the Gaider feeds on the tears and crushed hopes of fandom.
Expect the worst, that way you can either smugly say, "I told you so," or be pleasantly surprised. Its a win/win.

By the amount of, "ZOMG WE'RE STUCK WITH THEM? One Abomination and an elf that looks like a ten year old... I'm now gonna be celibate/romance Isabela" comments going around in the romance thread, I think David's prediction has a good chance of coming true.
(And yes, someone actually said Fenris looks like a child.)

Silly Gaider. Living to confuse and provoke tears. Rawr! Hopefully we will at least be able to flirt with whoever we want. It seems they have been very generous in that aspect this time around.
And I just remembered: There was a preview that said that you could hump practically anyone. Maybe that is an indication for all bi as well?

Agreed. Not just on this topic but in general, I hope the writers continue to take the attitude "this is the character, this is the story, take it or leave it," even if that means I can't always have what I want (like playing an elf PC). It's part of what makes the writing so strong.Minxie18 wrote...

For everything else, there are mods and fanfiction.

Many people who had an S/S with Leliana swear up and down that she's NOT bisexual, but in fact Lesbian (The game certainly hints this. She seems to have absolutely zero interest and history with men, and all of her stories almost certainly involve strong female warriors / witches).
Really, its up to the interpretation of the person playing it. Its suspension of belief.

People called Fenris ugly...I do recall that I quoted some people who were reacting rather insanely violent to Fenris and gave them a suggestion what they should do next
Edit: what's s/s?
