We know that David Gaider wanted to explore a stoic character again, more than he could with Valen back in the days. And this is what intrigues me most about Fenris so far. Now, we don't know "what kind" of stoic he meant.
A simple explanation (and the kind I'm hoping for):
1. One who is seemingly indifferent to or unaffected by joy, grief, pleasure, or pain.
How would a friendship, let alone a romance, be with a character like that? It kinda makes me think of Spock from Star Trek and it would be interesting to explore a relationship like that.
I'm torn. While I would enjoy breaking down that stoic mask very much, I do NOT want to think of SPOCK whenever I talk to Fenris.

Then again maybe it's the kind of stoics I'm used to.

Mmmm stoics
Spock is hawt, especially in the 2009 movie.
I'm tempted to draw Fenris in a Star Trek uniform now.

@kwintessa, DUUU EET! I adore Spock in that movie! I never looked at Zachary Quinto in Heroes again after that.
Only reason I watched Heroes was because of Zachary Quinto.
But yeah, Fenris in a Star Trek uniform would be... <33

Isabela: The test itself is a cheat. You purposely make it a no-win scenario.
Fenris: Your arguement precludes the possibility of a no-win scenario.
Isabela: I don't believe in no-win scenarios.
Fenris: Then not only did you violate the rules you failed to understand the lesson of the test.
Isabela: Did I now?
Fenris: Yes, the test was made to show you that you're not invincible.
Isabela: Says who?
Fenris: You have lost a ship before, the purpose of the test was to instill fear, with that fear you would try to maintain control of your ship in the event of another incident, thus preserving you from further loss.
Isabela: I don't think that you like the fact that I beat your test.
