Just about everything he does in that short is him stroking his ego, or looking for opportunities to or inciting reactions to also stroke his ego. Or rationalizing the excessive stroking of his ego.

Plus he was drawing quite a bit of attention to himself, stroking it in public like that. Definitely cocky.

He positively oozes with confidence.

Indeed, and it leaves quite a trail for his pursuers to follow.

You could practically watch his ego swell.

I think a rivalry romance would end up like Al and Peg Bundy, eventually.

Everythng he does? We have one short story and one scene. It's like I said, it's too soon to call him arrogant based on that. It seems too extreme to call him arrogant anyway. What, if he's not running whimpering like a scared little mouse, not daring to take even a loaf of bread and bowing mebbe to cleavagy girl, why he has to be arrogant? There's no inbetween, it's either cowering or arrogant? Even cocky and cheeky is a far cry from arrogant. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it can't be determined from what little that was shown.

Not cowering, but definitely arrogant.

Approaching the situation in a confident, less arrogant way? He jumps through window. Apologizes to woman. Knows he shouldn't take advantage of situation and grin at cleavage (which would make anyone uncomfortable) seeing as he BROKE into her home. Leaves without taking bread (which is more of an insult and less of a survival thing. He didn't have to take the bread), or if he does take bread leave coin or say thank you or something. Requests pursuers to leave him be or die instead of directly aggitating them and provoking them.

He's purdy arrogant.

MONKS! A class that's after my heart...one thing I throughly loved about BG2; One hit kills at higher levels was so satisfying

*scuttles out*

I mean, he's got the claw gauntlets and everything. Would have been ossum.

I'm wondering if using his powers has any sort of consequence upon him though. They're not exactly natural abilities like mages have, so I wonder how it affects him physically (if at all, which would be kinda boring if it had no effect whatsoever considering how he acquired them).

Yeah, it would be interesting if Dragon Age's melee classes aren't limited to weapon-wielding...picturing Fenris or any assassin-based rogue raining martial arts mayhem in combat would be quite a sight...although mocapping the moves would be a pain.

The idea of a living weapon actually.. being a living weapon, like a monk, is quite enticing. And perhaps I could look beyond Fenris' ego if he had his own unique fighting style. Monks are pure win.

Mmmm, perhaps. That would be a pretty damn awesome specialization, however.

As for his powers, I keep thinking they are sort of like a Reaper specialization. High Risk High Benefits sort of thing.

EDIT: Reaver specialization, not Reaper specialization

Not from my hard-headed Hawke, he's likely got a bone to pick with her.

Isabela would be keen on lending a good thrust or two from her arsenel.

It seems to me he has quite a firm grasp of it, though.

So Fenris is probably the guy that Priestly didn't want in his party because he was such a dick. I'm just guessing based on the dialogue going on here.

Perhaps, but his abilities don't have quite the same cooldown as they used to.

I think once it pops though, he's probably got a lot of stamina.

I hear folding lyrium takes a steady hand and great focus, don't drain all of his stamina at once.

Yeah. I am blindly assuming this, tbh. He sounds like he will be a bit difficult. I like that. B)

It must have taken years of abuse to amass such prowess.
