Bethany/Carver
Aveline (for realz), Varric, Isabela, Merrill
Anders, Fenris
That's my guess, at least.

That will be interesting, but will Fenris need to be in the party like for our companions in DAO? Mmm, but I guess we'll have a lot to do, tell and such. Mmm, yup, interesting.Dhiro wrote...
Mr. Gaider said that rival-friend meter is decided not by what you tell to your companions, but what you do. So I'm assuming that if Fenris is the rival and you want to make sweet, sweet hate-riva-sex with him, you should do things he would disapprove, I think.
And for that, you would need or trial-and-error or a firm grasp or Fenris' personality. There's also the personal quests, that are probably the main place to get friendly/rival points.
Not mentioned in the first 5 hours? Ah well, my Zevran wasn't either when I first playing DAO so I don't mind.

But he no longer tries to hide. He is too proud to take the options that he has. And considering he is basically a neon sign in weird foreign clothes with a ridiculous weapon for whom people are actively hunting, staying in one place is practically an invitation to find him and fight, which eventually comes and he then enjoys.
It's like procrastinating an easy assignment that you have plenty of time to do, by telling yourself you'll do just as well in a rush or don't need the extra time, or can do better in a rush, etc etc, thereby making it all the more difficult for yourself in the end. Laziness, and/or overconfidence in one's own ablity... at least when I do that >_> Playing it unnecessarily close to the chest, as I said in a different post. Potentially sabotaging yourself, for the challenge and satisfaction of emerging against those odds.
Maybe he is actually sick of being hunted but he sure is working verrrry hard to disappear. So I think this is about when the PC steps in and encourages him finish off his enemies once and for all or hide for real, as I believe Mike described in a video this/last week.
For someone working hard to covering their tracks, he certainly likes to stay at suspicious inns, even when all the clues that he's been sold out seem to be written along the walls for days.
Besides, just reading the story, the overall tone is very arrogant. He insults virtually every character he's come across. He calls the Innkeeper a guilty fat man, a guilty woman a **** (or some insult that was blanked out), elves frightened cattle, the Dalish something like stray dogs begging for scraps, his chasers fools.... The only time Fenris gets truly riled and excited is when he is being challenged and confronted by his chaser.
Gaider warned us from the beginning not to place Fenris on a personality pedestal, because we would be disappointed. He's not the self conscious, deeply hurt, calm character we've come to assume. He's quite head strong and ego driven. Which makes sense, as he IS a slave that actually escaped and he is obviously very valuable.

Well imo i think they kinda...lied about the "5 hours" thing. How can you do so many things in 5 hours?! Maybe on super easy and with a trainer!
Story-wise, they didn't talk about Izzie either, and we saw the party in Mike's video, Fenris was not there when she was recruited. So Fenris must be one of the last ones to get ...

OTOH you couldn't get Zevran until probably 5 hours in, or more even. In which case we just need a FenASAP mod.

Bahah. Oh Fenris. You so crazy. "Nothing like Zevran" indeed...

True. At least now we know that he's the one that slams the table, swears (in tevinter!<3), takes attitude. I still wonder why he has a silent sounset during combat, he seems really "into it" when he fights. I like him more this way than the silent type character. Be storm baby!

Hmm.. the article talks about preparing for the Deep Roads stuff and we know from all the trailers that it is possible to take Fenris with you when you go there. So we will probably meet him while preparing for the Deep Roads or something.plumededragop wrote...

And I wanted to take Fenris with me to the Dalish, so he can see they don't really like humans (and would rather die than except things/food from them).
I know Zevran was also a 'late-game' character, but 5 hours sounds so long (it doesn't, but you get my point). xD

Anders is after Varric. It's been said that he was one of the first you recruited. In the live video he was in the party picker with Merrill when you meet Isabela.

He doesn't sound anything like Zevran. So the doubters can stop... doubting!

No. I already know who I want first, what class, what kind of character, my party set-up and who Hawke is going to romance. You're not the only one.dangereusegirl wrote...

Last week I found out that one of my classes stops after March 18, normally that would make me angry (class is 4 weeks shorter than usual), but now I thought 'DA2 comes out March 11... great timing!!!' ;p
My only problem the week after the release of the game is that I have an exam the 14th, so I need to figure out how I'm going to combine work, studying and gaming.. I will probably not work that week.

It's weird, but most of the games that I'm used to playing take less than five hours to complete. This is going to be a strange expierence for me, since I like to keep playing until the story is complete.

Thats why I get annoyed with some games, example Alan Wake (I didnt buy it luckily) £40 for 8 hours and then you get games like DA:O where you can get 50 hours at least. Feel that its money well spent!
I am also semi-planning, but I dont want to look up too much more spoilers, so I'll try and take my time and avoid major quests till minor ones are done!

Nah, not a bad thing, it depends on your own pleasure when playing a game. I know I'll pay deep intention to all details in my first play... I've once spend 2h in my City Elf debut game just to make sure I didn't miss anything. XD:lol:

Im in the same boat last year of my degree, and March is like the start for my last unit. I am tempted to hold out on DA2 till i'm finished so I can enjoy but I bet when it arrives in the post, it'll be in my xbox within seconds....
