For reals, though, I don't know exactly. I know that my Isabela and Merrill banners wouldn't fit on the same line. So, less than that? That's as specific as I, personally, can get

I want Fenris to be slightly...protective over Hawke, sorta like this:



*The party is doing a stake-out at a seedy tavern. Hawke is unrecognizable to all but her party, dressed as a sleazy prostitute and drinking with Isabela*

Isabela: -muttering- Relax, Hawke. They won't believe it if you're so twitchy.

Hawke: -muttering back- I can't help it! This much cleavage bare to the world. The only person that should ever see this much of my skin at once-

Isabela: -sigh- Hawke, you're getting dramatic again.

Druncken Lecher: We-ell, hello there lovelies! -ogles Hawke's chest- and what *hiccup* lovelies they are! Mind if I buy you a drink, love?

Hawke: No thank you. I'm fine.

Drunken Lecher: Aw, c'mon, love, have a pint wit' me! -slings arm around Hawke's shoulder- And afterwards, maybe you could come back wit' me an' some 'o the boys...?

Hawke: -grits teeth as the man's hand clutches her breasts clumsily- I said, 'No thank you.'

Drunken Lecher: There be good coin for ye, love.

Fenris: -unable to stop himself, he grabs the man's shoulder tightly- I believe the lady said no thank you, ser.

Drunken Lecher: Whu...? -sneers at Fenris- Get out o' here, knife-ear. You can have your turn wit' th' **** when I'm done.

Varric: -sees that a problem is beginning- Gentlemen, gentlemen, there's no need to fight. I'm sure you two can finish this...amicably. Whoever has the most coin gets the **** first!

Hawke: -pales until she notices Varric slip Fenris a large bag of soveriegns-

Drunken Lecher: I've got... -squints at coins in hands- seven silver and two soveriegns.

Fenris: -reveals bag of gold and sneers at the drunk- I believe I win, ser. -grabs Hawke by the arm and escorts her from the building-

Hawke: Fen...I love you and eveything, but...sometimes when you and Varric plan things together, you scare me.

Fenris: Well, when you and Isabela get drunk together, you scare me, so we're even.

Hawke: Quick...quick question...what was plan 'B?'

Fenris: That was plan 'B.'

@Rose; We discussed jealousy/posessiveness before. Until someone compared him to Edward Cullen. Then I barfed - twice - and changed the subject.



I think he'll act slightly...animalistically. Fenris=Wolf, y'know. Territorial, agressive at times, will probably constantly battle Hawke for dominance in the relationship when romancing him as a rival. Makes more sense then him being a werewolf. Or immortal. Or thousads of other theories about his name.

And that is a both, as Fenris was rubbing me the wrong way entirely, but Valen is the best male romance I've encountered in... well, any writing. It is a conflict of interest...
