I can't get enough of all the Fen-clips we post either....and I have pratically r**ped the replay-button on the YouTube video with Fen's voice. xD
I see it everytime i upload something new to the first page (cause the code for the video magically disappears every darn time) <3

I've just noticed, there's one of the symbols on the wall, after Fenris finishes with the guy. They are everywhere! In the inn, on the streets...

Hadn't noticed it in this video, but I agree that symbol is everywhere. I checked the Bioware Blog and as far as I know it's not a heraldry from an organization we know of, yet.

Guys, totally random question...anyone knows what material is Fenris' armor made of?
Pure awesomeness..?
I think it's "made" of a mix between leather and metal. I would also have included feathers, but in the video clip the "feathers" on his shoulders looks more like an extended piece of leather which has been shaped into a feather-looking design.

@dirtsa90, my first thought was leather, but then I was like nooo he's a warrior, he needs stronger armor, but you are right it looks like leather/metal combo.

EDIT: Also if he was clad in big bulky armor it would totally hide the hip wiggle and disrupt his swagger

Put it like this, he is on the constant run, story mentiones "meager posetions", so he doesn't have anything impressive of a material worth when we meet him. Just someone's armor who was unlucky enoguh to be phased trough the head.

The spikes on the fingers of his gloves could do a lot of damage when pulling his arm out of someone's body, I just noticed that.

And that is a both, as Fenris was rubbing me the wrong way entirely, but Valen is the best male romance I've encountered in... well, any writing. It is a conflict of interest...

I think he would favor speed and agility a lot and you don't move very fast clad in a big bulky metal armor...

That symbol or something similar is all over. It could be the Kirkwall dragon, or graffiti I guess. This is shown on the blog as an elven symbol, for instance:dirtsa90 wrote...

The Coterie heraldry:

Kirkwall city guard:

So take your pick, I guess!

Don't take my every word for granted now but I remember that devs commented something similar about it when the screenshot with Varric and those signs came out. They said that in the time of elven slave uprising against Tevinter, prior to the city's independence, the sign of their resistance was this upper elven symbol painted over lower kirkwall.ian one. And that recently the same thing started to happen again.
Hmmm...well then it might have a significance since it's in the place we first encounter Fenris. Or maybe it's nothing...But what if Fenris will play an important role for the elves in Kirkwall?

Or maybe it's only for HIS self and not for all the elves. After all, he'll never surrounder to his former master and the hunters.ankuu wrote...

But yeah, it's still an interesting theory to keep in mind. Though I've some doubts. But over a 10-year time story, lot of things can happen/change...

...sign? *checks vid* Oh, I see it now. Hm...it looks like the sign for Kirkwall to me...
But I'd love it if it's related to Fen somehow. That'd make him relavant to the plot! (unlike Zev, who's only purpose was to attempt to kill me...and then be wooed by me.)

That's my theory. After reading the short story, Fenris definitely has a strong distaste for the squalor of city elves. The only thing they are really missing is strong leadership, something Fenris MIGHT be able to provide if he learns to become a team player over the years.
Each member seems to have some deeper connection with Kirkwall.
Anders: Mages (Could organize apostates)
Varric: Dwarvan Merchants, fingers dug deep into economy & spy network
Fenris & Merrill : Possible Elf Alienage connection, the former training people in melee combat, the latter in magic
Aveline: City Guard
Isabela: Mercenaries & Pirates (Blockades over the seas anyone?)
If all six are able to rally, taking Kirkwall from the Chantry will be a cinch.
