I think the devs have said the different companions will be unavailable at different times because they are out doing "their own things".



About morwgh's artwork. Lady Hawke looks in the second panel like a (quoting Valen here) "very wicked woman" and that is meant in a good way.

this thread is dangerous for my mental health!! i'm currently playing Awakening for the first time and just gave Anders his cat. That combined with all the comparisons in this thread between Fenris and Kitty Pryde put some very disturbing scenes in my head....now i can't look at Fenris without laughing because i imagine Anders cooing at him:(

* Anders: Who's the pretty kitty? Yes you are!
* Fenris: (Meow!)

* Anders: What do you think of your name, Fenris? Do you think it's appropriate?
* Fenris: (Meow!)

* Anders: Shall I train you to become a vicious attack kitten? (Snarls)
* Fenris: *epic fist of DOOM* ...Is that vicious enough?

EDIT: it just occured to me that Anders would be the only one to survive Fenris' special treatment. In his short story that one guy put a sword through him and he was just like "meh, hurt me? I hardly felt a thing.":P

Isabela, Varric and Bethany are playing poker when they suddenly hear sounds coming from Hawke's room.

Fenris: Y-you know, I'm suddenly not sure about this.

Hawke: Relax, Fen, it's won't hurt that much, and you'll like it afterwards!

Fenris: I'm just going to leave no, yep, going to leave.

Hawke: Hey, you're the one who asked me to do this.

Fenris: ...fine. But make it quick.

Hawke: Yeah yeah, quick. Now, it's going to hurt a bit at first, it may bleed, so just hold tight.

Fenris: Wait it might- OW! OW-OW-OW, PAIN!

Hawke: Don't be such a sissy, it'll stop. See, it's not even bleeding. The hole is a bit small, though...

-Isabela and Bethany run over and throw open the door. Hawke is sitting cross-legged on his bed with a needle in one hand and the other holding Fenris' left ear, the lobe of which is pierced-

Hawke: What?

Bethany: I...we...we thought you two were...

Hawke: -shrug- Fenris asked me to pierce his ear. Apparently Anders convinced him.

Isabela: -sighs and walks away sadly- And here I was hoping to have another elf-human threesome. Dream crushers...

And Ooh, it sounds so... real.

I think I have to open my mind, forget about the familiar things from Origins, and begin my DA2 expecting nothing in particular. And having fun with all the moments, of course! ( But I still want my Fenris with me  I don't know why, but I feel he'll make me suffer, one way or another...
