Hee hee, it would make my day if there's a scene where Mama Hawke confronts Hawke's LI with a "What are your intentions" conversation. I can see that going LOTS of different ways, depending on who Hawke is romancing.
...guess who has too much free time on her hands--
[Hawke and his/her LI are being sat down in the living room of Hawke's house by Leandra. They all look serious.]
Leandra: As the two of you already know, there is something we need to talk about.
Hawke: Please tell me this isn't what I think it is...
Leandra: About your relationship? Yes, I'm afraid so. You see, I am curious as to--
Hawke: -puts his/her hand up- Stop. If this is about intentions, we're adults we can handle ourselves.
Leandra: I'm perfectly aware of that dear. If you would let me finish, what I wanted to ask was... how are you two doing in bed?
Hawke & LIs: -SPITTAKE-
Leandra: Now dear, don't be like that. We are all adults, yes? There's no shame in talking about this. Now, a few days ago I noticed that the two of you seem to have just got started before all went quiet, and yes dear, I wasn't "taking an old lady's nap" like you thought. But to continue with my point, I couldn't help but wonder if you two are enjoying sexual intimacy as a young couple should have. Why, when your father and I were newly in love we just couldn't keep our hands to ourselves and--
Hawke: LALALA I'M NOT LISTEN!!
Leandra: In fact, I'm sure we conceived you while we were trying the--
Isabela: Hawke, I like how your mother thinks--
Fenris: -just going to pretend like he's listening while he's mentally meditating-
Merill: -squeaks and hides face in hand but is actually listening intently-
Anders: ...that sounds more hardcore than the Antivan Milk Sandwich.

Just the lineart so far. No tattoos or scars/smudges/redthingies yet. I'll probably color it tomorrow if I'm not too busy playing the demo.
Going back to a conversation about the idea of Hawke sneaking into Fenris's tent. Then added the wolf and fox traits because I was just doodling and it happens.

So the VA is Gideon Emery right? Balthier in FFXII, Lorik Quinn in Mass Effect. He sounds a lot like Balthier.
He is.
TGP semi-acknowledged it was.
We showed the vid to Mr. Emery, asking if the voice sounds familiar, his reply: "Very interesting."
Mr. Emery also mentioned he was voicing a 'top secret project' when seeing ME2 poster back in January 12......though that could be ME 3 project....
Wait, ME3,too?

I think that making peace with it puts you in the rivalry path (you disagree with him about something that is very important to him). The friendship path is when you agree he should kill the magister.LukaCrosszeria wrote...
I don't think you can have one without the other. If you help him make peace with his past, I doubt that will put you on the rivalry romance path, whereas if you encourage him to take vengance, what you say and do in order to get him there (much like with Alistair and Leliana) will create a rivalry romance.
Mike actually explaines in the preview what he means with the pushing Fenris in one of two directions.
Lol its funny how we see the exact opposite. It's possible, but I've seen the preview myself a week ago and I don't think that's how it will be. Pushing Fenris in either direction when you "intervene", involves his running from the magister or vengeance. I think when you cultivate his bad boy side, you'll get a bad boy romance, whereas if you show him a kind side, he might go, bleh, you're disagreeing with me, in the beginning, but he won't keep it up. Take Hercules and Xena for example. He was able to turn her good without creating a rivalry romance. When people start going down the right path, they usualy don't keep seeing the person that got them there as a rival.

It has nothing to do with good or bad. It just depends whether you agree or disagree with the follower on their central motive or issue no matter where their position falls on the morality scale. There are more details here.

I didn't find breaking into a woman's home and scaring her half to death very funny. Imagine you are the woman. An armed man with no local insignia or armor or uniform just broke into your home, looked at your body and smiled. What are you going to think?
Yeah, when you look at it like that (ie. remember that you the reader knows he won't do anything, but the characters in the story don't) it's really more disturbing than funny.
He broke in because he was being chased, it's not like he decided, hey let's break in and scare a woman half to death. Just how many movies haven't there been where the hero broke in/walzed through/over some terrified family's house. Your straight up good guy hero would have apologized before moving on, Fenris did more of a Robin Hood outlaw thingy, smirked at her cleavage and took some bread. That's all he did, he didn't lay a finger on her.
Don't think the fact that he's being hunted and basically is in a "me vs the world" where he has to constantly fight for his freedom, is taken into account enough. No allies, people out to capture hm and drag him back for a life of servitude...That is scary as hell, and he's had only himself to rely on. No wonder he acts cocky and proud. In his stance on the steps I see defiance, he's like, you want a piece of me too like everyone else, you'll find out the hard way why they failed.
