Looking at the clip again. Man. Elves standing in profile look kind of... bizarre and unbalanced. Their chests push out, their hips are pulled back past where their shoulders are aligned. Its very odd seeing Fenris walk in profile. I feel like that poor boy will topple over any minute.
I love how anatomically different elves are from humans, but it still looks odd to me.
I couldn't help but notice those long slim legs he has, it actually made me call him a grasshopper in my head.. that is meant in a good way (somehow)
I spent most of the time swooning over his hips.
But he does have gorgeous legs.
I wish there was an option to say that.
Hawke: You know, you have beautiful legs.
Fenris: Pardon?
Hawke: And your hips, too. They're very lovely.
Fenris: ...
Hawke: And your hair. And your eyes. Maker, your eyes. I'm drowing in them...
*snort*
Regarding hip swagger I would say it's almost a tie between Lady Hawke and Fen, did you see her when she was running?! Dang..

Fenris: Please... magister...
Fenris: I don't want to be a slave anymore.
Magister:...

When he finally came to his senses and realized what he had done, he sent out men after the fleeing elf.
That must be exactly how it happened.

Not just on the magister; all he has to do is look at a woman like that and she'll be sold.
Fenris is so going to have my Lady Hawke wrapped around his finger...
Edit: Also love how Fen's personality is shaping out. From what I could hear he sounded polite but confident.

Because enslaving ugly, unsympatheic things is more understandable.
I was equating it with abusing animals or children. Don't put words in my mouth.
And I'm saying abuse is bad no matter who is being abused. The cuteness or relative innocence isn't some evilness modifier. But hey, Fenris made puppy dog eyes at the Magister so clearly he was extra cruel. Give me a ****ing break.

I never said abuse was okay. I meant that humans (aside from sociopaths I guess) usually have a natural protective instinct over children and other beings that aren't able to protect themselves. They aren't "equals." There's a reason most convicts hate child molesters when they're incarcerated with them.

Finished demo a rogue!Hawke as archer... and can you say "overpowered" with me? I nearly died with dual-wielding, but I switched to that bow and I was like... awesome. And I love that if crap gets too close, we pull a knife and start slashing!
Now I'm considering archer Hawkette on my first round with the difficulty bumped up... Even though I'm totally a mage person!

Fenris is a helpless woobie child then. Got it.
It really is a shame Fenris isn't a cocky jerk, it'd lead to more interesting topics than "puppy eyes" and "OMG HIPS" despite the fact everyone has absurd eyes in this game, and he doesn't have remarkable hips to speak of.

His face looks like one when he makes certain expressions. He's obviously not really. It was a light-hearted comment.

This is really unneccessary, Shorts. Was there REALLY anything about the innocent comment that made you think she actually thought it was more cruel to abuse something cute? Obviously not. It's a well known fact that human beings find it more difficult to hurt something that appears non-threatening in good conscience. That's all she was saying.
Anyway, it's an ugly and unwarranted discussion that comes off like picking a fight just to rain on a parade and that's all I'm going to say about it.
I don't know if it's been transcribed before, but I got down Fenris's two unique personal abilities from his Tevinter Fugitive tree that we could see:
Veneer of Calm
Fenris maintains an aura of calm, but it is only a facade. Every wound he takes stirs his deeply buried resentment, increasing his attack damage. Damage up to 200%, Passive Ability.
Lyrium Ghost
While this mode is active, Fenris fades into a wraithlike state and becomes difficult to track on the battlefield. Defense +20%, Critical Chance +20%, Reserved: 25% of stamina, Cooldown 10s, Sustained mode.
Love how PERSONAL they are! Can't wait to see the full trees for every companion.
