I have been downloading the demo for the last 9 hours. This is ridiculous.
Ontopic: he has very pretty eyes. Very sad eyes too. He also is a lot more polite than I origially thought (but it reminds me of Balthier which is only a plus).

I never said abuse was okay. I meant that humans (aside from sociopaths I guess) usually have a natural protective instinct over children and other beings that aren't able to protect themselves. They aren't "equals."
Fenris is a helpless woobie child then. Got it.
It really is a shame Fenris isn't a cocky jerk, it'd lead to more interesting topics than "puppy eyes" and "OMG HIPS" despite the fact everyone has absurd eyes in this game, and he doesn't have remarkable hips to speak of.

Glad you just figured that out.
For the love of God will someone pleaes get him his blankie!?!?

In case you're being serious you do know quoting one frame of a video that indicates a particular expression isn't indicative of someone's personality, right? I mean, that's the kind of thing that got Carver labeled Herp Derp Hawke. Well, they might have been on to something there.
If you're kidding then: Heh.

I am intrigued at the idea that Fenris keeps all his emotions bottled up, and I'm very tempted to go for all the combative dialogue options with him. I only worry that being a **** to him right off the bat means I just refuse to help him and he never joins the party or something. I want to agree to help him but only reluctantly.happy-emu wrote...
It leaves more for Hawke to explore if Fenris is actually keeping his emotions in because he is afraid of what will happen if he doesn't. Confronting it could lead to some interesting avenues.
If I can't be mean right away, and you have to pick the nice or sarcastic lines to recruit him it might seem kind of bipolar for my FemHawke to suddenly become aggressive and argumentative in every conversation after she so happily agreed to help him out... Hmm, I shall have to think on this. Perhaps I can roleplay that Hawke was nice to him at first but then starts to get annoyed by his cool, detached attitude and it makes her want to push his buttons just to get a reaction.
