I am intrigued to at the idea that Fenris keeps all his emotions bottled up, and I'm very tempted to go for all the combative dialogue options with him. I only worry that being a **** to him right off the bat means I just refuse to help him and he never joins the party or something. I want to agree to help him but only reluctantly.happy-emu wrote...
It leaves more for Hawke to explore if Fenris is actually keeping his emotions in because he is afraid of what will happen if he doesn't. Confronting it could lead to some interesting avenues.
If I can't be mean right away, and you have to pick the nice or sarcastic lines to recruit him it might seem kind of bipolar for my FemHawke to suddenly become aggressive and argument in every conversation after she so happily agreed to help him out... Hmm, I shall have to think on this. Perhaps I can roleplay that Hawke was nice to him at first but then starts to get annoyed by his cool, detached attitude and it makes her want to push his buttons just to get a reaction.
Grrr *makes grabby hands at March 8 on the calendar*
A MILLION TIMES THIS!!
It's the main thing I'm apprehensive about in this new system.
I feel the same way but it sounds better then the system in DA;O' at least
