Honestly, while we saw roughly a half hour of gameplay concerning Fenris, Mike was talking over so much that I couldn't really hear much of the gameplay. I've had to form my opinions from what I can see, and because of that, I'm keeping myself open-minded since I don't have all the details.

I think I can agree with you on the thought of Fenris looking adorable, but for me that's only in certain poses with certain expressions. 

Don't forget also that we're seeing the responses that were triggered by Hawke's remarks - ie if the demo we were shown had sarcastic remarks rather than serious ones, he might have looked a little different. (Consider how different Alistair looks when you joke around with him vs when you slap him down.)

Also, if Fen can switch between BAMF and adorable puppy-eyes, I go down like a tonne of bricks for that. Much more effective than pure BAMF/pure puppy.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stuck some really ridiculous response in somewhere.
Like when the Warden got to flirt with drunk Oghren.

Oh, I definitely flirted with Oghren. I loved that it was even a choice.
Some of the psycho killer lines was great, too.

I doubt it'll happen exactly like that, though... I'm just a little
bored with the usual way it happens with the PC being flirty-flirty and
seeing the two rephrasing the same basic "I think I like you, do you
like me?" "Yes, I like you." conversation over and over. Everyone's
always way too 'polite' about it (as Marianne Dashwood would say).

It's encouraging what DG said about there being a special rivalry "entry into a romance".

I wonder if we'll get any odd comments from companions through a same sex romance. If I remember correctly there were a couple in Origins(both when talking to the possible-romance, and when talking to a DIFFERENT possible-romance. Like... playing a male, starting relationships with both Zevran and Leliana, and then sleeping with Zevran. And I know a male warden could protest Zevs flirtatiousness)
