Okay, I've been wondering this for a while... Seeing as in my first play I plan on rival pathing Fenris and friendship pathing Anders (and switching on the second play), do you think he'll call my Hawke on her total hypocrisy?

Fenris: What do you mean, "vengeance isn't the answer"?!
Hawke:  All I'm saying is, sometimes you just have to let it go.
Fenris: Need I remind you that just yesterday you told the mage you would help him destroy all templars no matter what the cost??
Hawke: That's different! He's possessed by a literal demon of vengeance!

I tend to agree.  It'd be impossible to be completely neutral without Hawke looking like he/she's made of stone, which would just be boring.  And those expressions can be highly subject to interpretation.  I'd rather have them than not, and let my dialogue choices steer my relationships, even if it doesn't show on Hawke's face.

Why? He's not my character if he's reacted the way I don't want him to react. If I wanted a predetermined protagonist I'd play a JRPG. 
I rather have a ":mellow:" face than a completely out of place ":O" look.

Really though what genius thought hat was a good idea. Here I am thinking I'm asking for money and instead Shep gets molested. There should've been a damn confirmation option. I reloaded so fast after that...
