That's exactly the thing. I'm getting tired of Carth Syndrome. So damn tired. 

It will be written well but it lost it's punch after Jade Empire. I'm just sick and tired of it. 

And if he compares the female PC to his wife...urgh.

Thats why i just avoid that thread. The jokes about crath syndrome i lurked there for a bit but never post. Then, i saw those jokes and said good-bye romance thread. Stupid.Carth.Syndrome.

...  What? I totally witnessed it before in one of my classes. It was hilarious because that peer that was standing there was actually the teacher, who had just walked into the classroom about halfway through the rant.

Lol the idea reminds of online theories people were coming up with about Inception before it came out. A popular one was that Marion Cotillard wasn't really Leo DiCaprio's wife, but he was made to believe she was because they incepted the idea into his head, created false memories, etc.

It definitely sounds more appealing to me than there being an actual wife. Maybe if the magister is tricking him there could even be a real live woman around who's actually in on the ploy/works for the magister.

Don't know. Kaidan and Alistair were such a refreshing change of pace. I didn't mind Jacob's relationship with Miranda (see BW it's perfecty fine for exes not to be married/dead!) he was just a bland character on his own. 

Bah. Bah I say.
