Don't know. Kaidan and Alistair were such a refreshing change of pace. I didn't mind Jacob's relationship with Miranda (see BW it's perfecty fine for exes not to be married/dead!) he was just a bland character on his own.

Actually having done the Jacob romance, I found him remarkably strong and capable, able to comfort Shepard instead of needing support he offers it. My only problem with him is Hale's  voice.....

Watched the romance scene and swore I heard "and I'm hungry like the woolllff." in the background.

I've only done it once I am a Kaidan girl, but it wasn't so bad 'in context'! Could they have done it better? Of course... but in context it didn't make me want to throw up, he grew on me. And a bit of Duran Duran would be cool tbh 
Either way, he didn't have romance issues and I hope Fen doesn't either it would be a pity, as I said, to pee up that tree again....

His approach was definitly unique in all of  the Bioware universes. It'll be intresting to see what happens when Kaidan finds out.

In all I still find that scene to still have the same amount of corniness as all the others.

Jacob: Sneaking into the captains courters. Pretty high risk... but the prize.

The underlined is what bothers me the most. They never seem to have flaws. There this perfect ghost (most of the time). My PCs can't compete with that. Their sick of trying.

I find it weird how someone can skip from Carth Syndrome to loveless/virgin with no in-between. He can have a past love, I just don't want to hear about how her eyes were like fire and her beauty was matched only by her spirit and oh by the way I'm kind of like her. It's boring, I've heard it, and I didn't care the first time.

If DA2 has multiple endings like Origins did, then I wonder if it could be possible to lead Fenris down any of several paths in regards to his wife, as well. Like... if you don't go through the romance with him, then he could go back to her during the game, or at the end(depending entirely on just how the game ends, of course).

...also, will she be someone completely "new"(like always), or possibly someone you meet at some point early-ish in the game.
