I liked Irikah, from what Thane told us of her. I've never understood the jealous/possessive way some people get about the wife thing. It does add some depth to the characters if nothing else. In fact, I wanted to know more about Thane, and Carth's wife. The one and only thing about the concept that bugs me is that we've done it twice now, and I really have no desire to see it done again any time soon. Good that DA2 has sidestepped it, and I'm not so sure ME3 will bring in new LIs, so that's not very relevant anyway.

Point. I'd like to hope this thread isn't capable of getting that out of control. I've seen some insanity, but flash mod mentality online? That would be.... different.

ITs too bad too. I was sort of hoping for Fenris Past Lover BS so I could get conflicted in game.

Well, as said before there's a line everyone has with regards to that stuff.  If a LI talks too much about their former relationship (and what constitutes "too much" is different for everyone), it can seem obsessive and intrusive.

There was a very funny lil Fenris short story WAY back in the thread, about his wife seeing Fenris and racing towards him, but Hawke kills her before Fenris notices.

Yeah, there's been a ton of comments about how Wesley is an ass and a weakling and a moron, so they're glad they can kill him and like, free Aveline or something. Not that it matters, since she isn't romanceable, but there you go.

I did one of those... Lady Hawke trips her, she comically bounces down a set of stairs, and then bursts into flames. Fenris turns and goes "WTF?" and Lady Hawke is all, *Shrug*.

I was more sad for his wife Wes was kind of mean!  But I would have rather he was crushed by the Ogre I mean he was already dying and I would have felt to much sadder with him still being alive after the battle and then having a goodbye Wes scene but the music was amazing!!!

I regret to say that I was also in that same camp because I thought he was an idiot for starting a mexican stand off with a mage who just saved his life in the middle of a blight, but after I played the Demo, I have more respect for him.

Boy marched his ass down all the way to Ostagar to save Aveline in the middle of a blight. He gets MAJOR props and super respect.
