Good morning everyone! I just got home from work a little while ago and caught up on Camp Fenris. Glad I missed the married Fenris farce. I would have been very angry if it had been true.

Why is it that some people take such delight in making others upset?

People pass on rumors, it's what we do here.

I don't get why people were so upset about it, but then I never got why people would freak out so badly over the Dark Ritual, as if no one were ever allowed to touch Alistair's precious bod but their Warden.  And people always trope hunting- as though anything were new under the sun anyway.

Eh well, the forums confuse me sometimes.

I thought most of us said we didn't care about someone else 'touching' Fenris, just that we were getting a bit bored of the concept of a dead wife. It's got very little to do with trope hunting and more to do with how we just had another Bioware game that did it, and that was only a few years after KotOR. I don't mind the concept, I'm just in the mood for something else on that front. I'm perfectly certain that had it been true, DG would have pulled it off with aplomb, but that doesn't make my desire to see something else any less.

Edit: And for what it's worth: I had Alistair do the DR on my FemCousland playthrough. Whatever was necessary to not die, yanno. Other than having him run off and taking Loghain. ._.

But, people die- especially in a harsh world like this.  Medieval setting, it would not be uncommon to find widows and widowers.  Anyway, moot point.

About the DR, I'm referring to people who would say things like they wanted to kill Morrigan and her baby, not because she was teh ebul but because she had dared to touch Alistair.  Even though the PC had to give her permission.  *whatever*
