I'm not talking about the jealousy involved with romancing-flirting with two NPC's and imust choose between them. I'm talking about being jealous of the non-companion NPC's hitting on the PC or flirting with them (e.g. flirting with Teagan)

True, I suppose they all would be jealous to some extent. Polygamy is frowned upon in the Dragon Ages (I think). Personally I think if he were jealous, he'd probably make it painfully obvious from the start. Like in Origins "So I see you and [insert name here] are getting along good." I bet he would make Hawke feel really guilty about it...

I don't know about that one...but since they are able to get into a conversation better now I guess it could happen...

Y'know, I never knew what everyone was going on about in terms of jealousy dialogue until I dug through the toolset recently. I think I always got that bug where companions didn't recognise you were in love with someone else or if you did the break up thing with another love interest it just never crept into the banter. But dang, looking at the toolset, there is some fighting words between Leliana and Morrigan. It's very encouraging for my male Amell who will be a total jerk and wants to break a few hearts (he's chaotic evil, what can I say). I don't think the girls get nearly as much banter for their love-interest choices (Zevran is pretty neutral for boys and girls and Leliana doesn't seem to care if here girlfriend turns out ot be bi). Just random thoughts.

I am really anxious to see how this rivalry stuff works out, not just for Hawke, but inter-companion banter/relationships.

I remembered an earlier post (I seem to do that more and more often) where there was a written scenario with Fen being jealous of Hawkette flirting with a mechant (and it was a good scenario ). It would be interesting if something like that could happen in DA2.

I'm reminded of a scene in KOTOR I where a sleasy hunter hits on the PC and Carth has some dialogue where he tells him to shove it. That was a nice touch.



And we know companions will get to participate in dialogue between the PC and NPCs now so it's a distinct possiblity that such things could happen in DA 2.

As far as jealousy goes, I do hope companions will be able to object to the PCs flirtations in some way, partially because yeah! development but also because I'd love to see how it gets handled.

I look forward to hearing Sarcastic Hawke's response to jealous party banter between love interests. I don't know what they'll say but I'm betting he'll say, "Ladies, ladies" or "Boys, boys" etc.

And it would make sense. I mean if I was in the starting phase (or any other phase for the matter) of a romantic relationship I wouldn't be too pleased if he was flirting with someone else in my proximity. If it was someone hitting on him I would be like: "sorry but he's taken". I wouldn't just stand there with no reaction.

He was a slave, not a cannibal. He must have stayed in cages and worked his ass off, maybe ate some disgusting stuff, but he is certanly not a cannibal I wonder how he manages to look so good after being a slave...

Perhaps the sort of slave he was..was one who did lots of manual labor. That would account for the muscles.

It's got slightly less evidence than the "he's a werewolf" suggestion. By that I mean there's no evidence as opposed to extremely tenuous evidence.

Here's the short answer on the Isabela pic: Ever have a really bad photo taken of you? Would you like that one photo to be given as evidence of your ugliness constantly? That's how I approach that particular example. In other images - such as the recent trailer or in her inventory screen - she looks fine. Anyway, its the wrong thread - she's got her own.
