It's pretty impressive tankgirly. There was a bit in the middle which confused me a bit, where they're talking about the new game, but I glossed over my confusion and it's quite a nice read. It was funny how Hawke protested at the end about being invited, and then having Fenris ask her and she instantly says "of course".

Very nice.

Same here and I'm also going to use the 'dream team' (Fenris, Anders and Seb) a lot.
I like that the demo (when you get to the Isabela part) gives you a moveset that depends on what you pick in the beginning (I've done 3 mages -> all healer (boring!), all elemental and one with all the arcane(?) spells). I'm also in love with the rogue armour, the armour Hawke wears in the exaggerated part is beautiful.

Ugh, they ruined that class for me, which was my 2nd favorite in Origins after destructo-mage.  Cannot play the hamster on crack.  Blood mage, then perhaps archery rogue if I do another femHawke run- Fenris can definitely take the warrior slot.  I plan to use Merrill if her cuteness factor is not too much, Varric if it is, maybe Aveline.

Well, I regret that we cannot have dual weapon warrior because that's what I planned to do first. As my GW was already a Rogue, I wanted to change. But alas, I won't. I LOVED Rogue Archery in the demo, but I must resist doing another one coz that was also my GW spe. So I'll stick with the dual weapons. The animations are cool (though sometimes I admit a tad TOO fast to be real ), but it's the attacks and combos you can create that I love more.
I didn't like 2H Warrior in DAO, I still don't in DA2... Fenris won't have a challenger.

I didn't like mage in DAO, I like it in DA2 but still don't feel like doing one right away. I'll probably do it in my second play with F!Hawke.

I have to stop playing the demo because every time I do I want the game even more. I must go total abstinence right now and stick to this thread.

“Thank you.” He whispered. Hawke kissed his forehead and pulled back, moving to sit on the bed behind him.

“What are you doing?” Fenris asked his voice slightly hesitant.

“Something my mother used to do for my father, just relax.” She replied.

She placed her hands on his elbows and stroked firmly up to his shoulders, where she began to knead the muscles. He groaned and his head fell forward when she began to pull and rub at his neck.

“Too hard?” She asked, worried.

“Nooo, just right. Ah – there!” He exclaimed as her fingers pressed to where his skull met his neck. She slid her fingers though his hair and back down again.

She moved back to his shoulders after a few minutes. His muscles were firm and warm beneath her hands, the Lyrium glimmered, his tanned skin was soft, and his hair had been silky. She lost herself in her ministrations, moving lower and lower down his back. His breathing was even and gentle, with the occasional groan as she worked at a stiff or sore part. There was something peaceful in it, in giving comfort to another.

“One day in summer...a light comes to me...opens up my heart....and leads me to...a place where sadness...melts like winter snow...a place full of faith... a little piece of heaven...The sun shines up...in a sapphire sky...fly away my...butterfly...”

Hawke was doing something she had not done for a long time. Hawke was singing.

“One night in summer...the light comes again...it brings me hope...delivers me from pain...and shows me gently...when night turns into day...and spring into summer...you will find a way...The moon shines bright...in the starry night...fly away my...butterfly...”

She wasn’t even aware she was doing it.

“You will find a way...you will find a way...you will find a way...”

Fenris gripped her hand as the last words faded.

“Where did you learn that song?” He asked.

“Bethany.” Hawke smiled “We made it up as children. I used to sing it to her as a lullaby, or when she was sad...I’m sorry, it just kind of happened...”

He pressed a kiss to the palm of her hand.

“I have never heard you sing before. I enjoyed it.”

Hawke was glad he couldn’t see her blushing.

“I...err...it’s late I should go to bed – I mean, go to my bed, lots to do tomorrow.” She stuttered.

“Will you come see me tomorrow evening?” Fenris asked, slightly hesitant.

Hawke smiled. “Whatever you need, Fenris. That was what I promised wasn’t it?”

The door closed behind her and Fenris whispered to the dark room

“What if what I need is you?”

Hightown Market

Fenris: (holding a block of fine Tevinter cheese in his hands) Excellent.

Merrill: (popping up behind Fenris) So you like cheese?

Fenris: (turns around and prepares to draw sword) Prepare yourself! (notices that it isn't a bounty hunter and lets out a sigh) Merrill, do you just fall out of the sky at random times just to torrment me?

Merrill: Maybe.

Fenris: I could have taken your head off.

Merrill: But you didn't. So what's the cheese for?  Are you taking our fearless leader out on a date?

Fenris: It's just my lunch.

Merrill: Sure it is.

Fenris: Merrill...

Merrill: Oh come on Fen, she's from Ferelden. People from Ferelden love cheese! I bet she'd really like it.

Fenris: Merrill that is a common generalization, it doesn't mean that its true.

Merrill: (walking away) What ever you say lover boy.

Meanwhile in Ferelden:

Alistair: Yes!

Anora: Did the empress agree to the treaty?

Alistair: Even better! We just got a shipment of fresh cheese in!

I decided to try my hand at a prompt concerning one of my most favorite foods. I hope you enjoy:

Cheese.

 “What, dare I ask, is that?”

Valerie Hawke stilled mid-bite to look to Fenris, a pleasant smile on her face despite her companion’s interruption. “This, my friend, is Orlesian Bleu-- imported and delicious! Would you like a piece?”

“I’d rather not, thank you.”

Hawke’s grin instantly deflated at his hasty refusal. It was clear he wasn’t much of a fan of fine cheeses, if the look of unconcealed disgust was anything to go by. Still, she persisted.

“Oh, come now, it really is good! It is a wine cheese, you know—“

“Of course; one would need to be intoxicated in order to bypass the foul stench.”

Again, Hawke pouted at the scarred elf. She knew his stubbornness was unrivaled (except to her own) and would not be easy to break. No, she would have to do something to catch Fenris completely off-guard—which, honestly, was just as likely to happen as getting him to dance the Remigold in a pretty dress. Eyeing the speckled chunk in her hand, a devious plan hatched in the darker recesses of her mind.

“Ah, such a shame you won’t sample such a treat voluntarily.”

Fenris raised a brow as she sauntered forward, a sensuous grin fixed on him. The sway of her hips was obviously exaggerated and meant to tease him. He knew this. And yet, his palms pricked with buds of a nervous sweat. His cool façade remained as stone as he continued to watch their proximity lessen.

“I suppose I’ll just have to feed it to you…”

Jade green eyes hardened at the challenge. He’d like to see her try and get that excuse for food near him—

“With my mouth.”

Fenris assumed she had been kidding…until she placed a small bite of the Orlesian Bleu between her lips. Dear, Maker.
